Would you accept 1 million for Lockyer & Harrison if it was all ploughed back into the team.

No, 1 million is not a lot for a league one player these days let alone two. We’d need to spend double that to replace them.

No way. We would struggle to even just replace them with that much. That is not a lot, even at this level, these days.

Ellis - only 2 league goals since his excellent goal at Donnie on Jan 27th - very disappointing end for him in terms of goals, general play has been good. I was sure he was heading for 18 -20 this season. Anyway, he's improved on last season's tally.
Lockyer, for me, a worse season than last, the boy has gone downhill - makes too many mistakes - giving away pens, poor heading. I'm not convinced he'd be in my starting 11 for first game of next season.

I know that the original question is purely hypothetical, but does anybody really think that we are likely to receive that sort of offer for a player that has been poor for long periods of the season?

Why would we accept £500K for Harrison, are we seriously going to find a 15 goal a season striker for that type of money with the prospects he'll steady improve?
No idea what's gone wrong with Locks as Coleman and Giggs clearly see something we don't!

I love that Lockyer's had a poor season and everyone is ready to boot him from the club and yet Ellis had a good 5 months and people want to vote him as player of the season. Let's not lose our heads here everybody. Also I'd love to know how many clubs have spent more than a million pounds in a transfer window in this division? I can't imagine it's many.

I’m not sure that Locks has had a poor season as such. I’d say it is more a season littered with a few costly mistakes, but he often looks impressive in the way that he reads the game and puts his body on the line for the cause. Yes, he can do better, but he remains an outstanding prospect, hence Coleman and Giggs giving him game time.
Ellis has faded a little but is that surprising given how he flogged himself around the pitch for much of the season?
Both players are a massive part of the fabric of this club and would be extremely hard to replace. A definite ‘no’ to the hypothetical £1 million offer.

Completely agree I also think a lot of people forget how young Lockyer is. I don't think it's a coincidence that he seems to plays better alongside a more experienced partner. Personally there's no way I'd entertain selling Lockyer or Harrison although I'm not sure the captaincy does Lockyer any favours.

We will be lucky to get £1m for the pair of them But you put "Shame he will be moving on in the summer" with a crying emoji a few days ago in response to praise for Harrison, now you think we'll be lucky to get £1 million for him and a 23-year-old three cap Welsh international???

Regardless most Welsh Internationals appear to play at Championship level or above, so they must consider Locks will eventually play at that level.
Just thinking imagine how bad summer it will be if we did lose Locks, Harrison and Brown plus possible Gaffers!
