It will take a fee of £800k or more to prise him away according to his local press, would we be prepared to pay that?
Gary Johnson said: "Some League One clubs who are tracking him won't be able to afford him, no chance.
"It could be either a big League One club or the one in the Championship.
"We won't sell unless it's big money."

Guess it's back to the "saw a rumour on twitter, lets put it on gaschat" time of year.
It's going to be a long summer.

Gary Johnson has to say that though, he can't say "Clubs are looking, Elsa wants to leave and so he'll go for bugger all". I'll have a Thatchers on an undisclosed fee. ;-)

There have been dozens of scouts watching him this season, including from the likes of Cardiff.

It's all about player power, surely. If he wants to go, he will go and There is nothing Cheltenham can do about it. Would you rather accept £300-£400k or have a player who doesn't want to be there? Undermining you as the manager and the rest of the team. Not saying that he is that kind of player. Just saying really that Gary Johnson has to come out with the same BS that DC had to come out with. It's just hot air.

It's just hot air. He has been named their Supporters' Player of the Year, Players’ Player of the Year and the Sponsors' Player of the Year and has broke Cheltenham's league goals record for a season - they would be mad to accept a pathetic fee of £300-400k IMHO. The Taylor situation was totally different. We allowed his original deal to run down and then we were left in a position of agreeing a new deal with a paltry release clause or let him walk away for nothing. Eisa has a contract until 2020 and as far as I'm aware no release clause.

Apparently has a brother who plays for Shrewsbury as a winger. Yes, they signed him in January from Wealdstone, where he scored 12 goals. Last season he scored 20 goals and made 18 assists for Uxbridge. He scored a quality goal against Weston this season: /video/1

We've (pub mates) have been eyeing up 2nd div top scorers and Kristian Dennis is the one that we have selected 19 goals in a relegation season, that's a fine effort. What's your take on him Pirate?

He's alright, but I think League Two is about his level. There was rumoured interest from Bradford back in January, but nothing came of it. He's got 15 goals from open play and 4 pens, a decent return especially in a relegated side, but like I said, League Two is probably his level. He played at this level with Chesterfield last season and only managed 5 goals from open play. IMHO we could do better.

Surely Ian Holtby could not be the source of a negative story about the club. I'm properly shocked.....

In all seriousness that Tyler has to be careful what he posts on here or at least be a little bit cute with how it is worded.
