Just a heads up that anyone getting the train to Paddington from Parkway. There's various cancellations that the Train Line app aren't reporting so we've got to go to Reading, Basingstoke, Waterloo and onwards. Way home looks even worse.

I work on the railway and yesterday I took my Sarfend tickets back to the club shop and got a refund. There's little guarantee that advertised trains will run, and line repossession may not get released on time which will mean more disruption and cancellations. I have to work early tomorrow and couldn't risk it.
To get my final seasons fix, me and my lad are going to watch Exeter. I've always liked them, they're in a play off spot and it should be a good game with a decent crowd.
If Sarfend had been a 1500 K.O. We would have been there, but I just can't risk getting stranded in London or Reading and having to go by coach all the way back, and via all the intermediate stations.

I would have done the same had I known. GWR issued a press release at 11.40pm last night and the Train Line app said trains were running as normal even when I got to Parkway this morning.

Got to Swindon and have abandoned any hope of making the game. Away end for Accrington's league winners party it is.
