It's over now.
How do you think we did?

We avoided second season syndrome, better than I expected if I'm being brutally honest, I would like to see us challenging for the top six next season but I'm just still so happy that we are back in league 1 ! Already looking forward to next season!

Some frustrating results but overall a good season for stability. Need some new players over the summer but an important even if uninspiring season

It's lovely we still hold emotional attachment to players that just haven't shown enough form.
Certainly enough form to be consistent enough to challenge for a top 6..
But as romantic we are as GasHeads, deep down too many players that have got us to where we are, can't take us any further.
We are where we are, but over all I'm disappointed to finish in bottom half and worse off than last year. We never recovered from August.
Let's hope for better next season..

I’m voting for the “fantastic in the context of where we were before DC” option.
Maybe all our dreams didn’t come true this season but our players gave it a good go and overperformed slightly given our budget being the 15th highest. I have the upmost confidence that DC can keep us over performing and get us in the playoffs sooner rather than later.
Inconsistency was prevelant throughout our season and our pitch didn’t help us out either but hopefully over the summer both those things can be sorted and we can come back for the 18/19 season even stronger.

very disappointing glad the season is over We finished higher than our estimated budget suggests we should but yet you find it very disappointing that we didn’t overachieve more ? Maybe our fantastic success under DC has led you to being spoilt but then you don’t rate him as a manager so that doesn’t add up either ??!!!

Im a bit disappointed because we have gone backwards slightly this season and i feel a bit flat about our prospects for next season. I really like liam sercombe, kyle bennett, tom broadbent and tony craig who more than make up for the tom nichols let down but im a bit fearful about the rebuilding task ahead and the fact that some of the players still under contract are not good enough performers at this level.

Fantastic season for me. Stability is no longer a fear. No worries about D.C leaving (morning midland gas 💩) Another good season in league 1. Ok points and position not as good as last season but we had a terrible 2 months and we came through it really strong since the turn of the year. Not ideal at the time but you bet D.c learnt more in them 2 months than he has most his managerial career. Only exception being them games at the back end of that season we like to forget, but that too made him the manager he is. Still young enough too play (just) some forget that’s how great he has done so early in his managerial career,
Thoughts with Sir Alex and family. 👺. X

What was Darrell's budget in comparison with the other 24 clubs, out of interest? Bit hard to vote for the 3rd option without knowing really.

It was all Chris Lines fault. Or was it the pitch?

I feel like the end of the season has been really weird. Our form looks terrible but I actually think we have been performing quite well.

Just proves we need a decent goal scorer to compliment Ellis. Time for Wael to get the cheque book out.

Must try harder

I think they try about as hard as we could possibly hope for ( bar Nichols) but we haven’t got the quality to become a top 6 side yet. Rather than just try harder I think it’s more a case of keep trying hard but need more quality.

After a shocking start to the season we've finished OK, somehow next season DC has to replace Taylor's and Bodin's goals.
