Some enjoyable games albeit some poor results against some struggling sides, but with some minor changes I think we could be challenging next year.

Craig arrived as Bodin departed so hardly a fair comparison? If you want to blame a player why blame Bennett for not scoring goals as many goals as Bodin would have done if he had stayed? I was on about the goals conceded table so not really sure what Bennett or Bodin have to do with that? My main point really was that since Craig has arrived we have been conceding less per match. No we haven't. Someone put the stats on here the other day and it's little to no difference. Maybe 5 or 6 goals over a season is all.

Saw those stats, they indicated that whilst we were keeping less clean sheets, goals conceded per game was down with him in the team which is impressive considering we had some tough games after January like Blackburn and Wigan at home. It’s no coincidence that once he came in our results started to get a lot better, I can’t really remember a game where we capitulated defensively after he came in. He organises the defence and his experience really shows. He might not be the fastest but having seen a fair bit of him, I really rate him.

This season has panned out better than I expected. I think people are a little unrealistic to expect progression every season and the evidence is there for so many clubs that once the upward momentum runs out after consecutive promotions, a rot can set in and the club can suffer a downward trend. The signs were there that we may have suffered the same fate, but DC and the players dug in and turned it round, and I think that as an achievement is majorly underrated. DC has done, and continues to do, an incredible job, and the longer we can keep him here, the better.

Bradford home was pretty amazing too. Goal down and destroyed them in the second half won 3-1. First 70 mins v Wigan we were fantastic only thing missing was another goal to kill them off.

That's the thing we make a lot of chances but are not clinical enough, then are always suspect to leaking a goal or two at the other end.
I haven't made a lot of games this season but numerous times i've seen stats where the opposition have had one or 2 shots on target and all gone in.
Ellis is someone who other clubs wish they had, I just wish he got into more goalscoring positions. He could play in the Championship with further improvement.
