Hate it when we change unnecessarily. if I remember correctly back in 89/90 season we had blue and white home and away shirts, aswell as a yellow 2nd strip and a white 3rd strip.... can't see why the away sponsor blue and white can't be done in this day and age

Always thought it was strange that we had two different sponsors for the same shirt, but it makes sense now.
Like your thinking, just do the same again! Should always be quarters wherever possible.

Can't we just swap the quarters round for Away? Have the blue quarter over the badge, instead of white? I could cope with that.

Good comments Gregsgas and Markash; I think the famous blue and white quarters should be used as much as possible. Mind you, I do think the white away kit is pretty smart.

results wearing quarters = DWWWWWWW
results wearing white = LLDL
I know it's probably coincidence and obviously we've only lost away, but it is a bit of a worry regarding the white shirt so far....

Reminds me of a season with Ollie, couldn't win in the away shirt. Remember him saying he was going to burn it!

Are we simply saying there is a home advantage (and nothing more than that?) or is there a reason why we might perform better in the quarters (perhaps a psychological effect on the team and on the opposition?) ... or is any pattern a chance co-incidental effect?

I like the white away kit as away kits go, particularly as it incorporates the black and yellow, which I assume is a reference to the Black Arabs kit. I remember a few years ago Rovers wearing that black kit for a game to commemorate what must have been the club's 125th anniversary. So 2008, it must have been.

I may be wrong here, but weren't we wearing Blue & White quarter for our two away wins last season. If that is correct, when did we last win in an 'away' kit?

IPG I believe it must have been Dagenham away on April Fool's Day 2012/13 season. Looks like even for the cup wins at York and Crawley we wore blue and white last season.
