Oh right. Probably not worth it then. The only player I would be tempted by that can play wide at that level is Fejiri Okenabirhie at Dagenham, although there are players ahead of him that I would prefer. Get straight on the blower to Mr T Widdrington then.

Get straight on the blower to Mr T Widdrington then. I'm sure he's well aware of a player like that. He scored a hat-trick recently for the England C side.

Peterborough are annoyingly efficient in the transfer market. With Marriott looking to be on his way out they've already got an excellent replacement in Godden. www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/05/17/por-posh-agree-fee-for-stevenage-striker-godden/Although they do inevitably buy a few duds (NICHOLS) they must make a hell of a profit in the transfer market! Over the years they have been slowly making ground improvements as well. Pains me to see clubs with much smaller fan bases making continue progress on an off the pitch. 😩 (Yes I get they are in the same league as us but they have recently experienced Championship football and are building foundations to make sure their minimum level will be mid table L1 - whereas with us, if say DC were to leave, I could quite easily see us drop back down into L2).

Peterborough are annoyingly efficient in the transfer market. And amusingly inefficient on the pitch.

If Godden is going to replace Marriott then Posh will not get promotion or anywhere near it.

I don't think Godden is all that personally. He might prove me wrong and bang in the goals at this level, but I wouldn't have gone in for him.
