Ah the good old big club nonsense.
How Luton have better odds than Burton for promotion I don't know!

15/2 for us to be relegated? We should be even money.

What's up with Plymouth? You'd think they would be better fancied than us, atm.

I would make Luton slightly bigger but Burton slightly shorter.

It may have something to do with players leaving there, I think Sonny Bradley is out of contract and has offers from a lot of clubs, Oscar Threkeld left to join a Belgian team and Ruben Lameiras has been attracting interest from a few championship clubs too. Other than that I can't see why they are so low down, they had a great season. I would wait until transfers have been made before putting money on any team myself.

Promotion at 13/2 seems reasonable; subject of course to the additional quality players arriving by or before the beginning of the season.

Blackpool's second half of the season has gone unnoticed by the bookies and I'd think Bradford are always a threat in this league.
And what's with the Gillingham odds. They never impress me (and I used to hate watching them when Hessenthaler kicked people in the air all day!), but they finished comfortably mid table like us. Have they lost players?

Lee Martin and Scott Wagstaff have left Gillingham.

Does anyone know how accurate these pre season odds tend to be? Are they really a good indication?

I will be surprised if Shrewsbury do as well next season. Had a great season of course but with their manager about to leave, I cant help but think they will struggle next season. A few key players go then I would even stretch to put them in the relegation candidates.
