Interesting twitter feed by a bored accountant of the price of football figures released for the 2016/17 season.
interesting results for us with Rovers having quite a high income, but spend considerably more on wages than other clubs around us.

The wages and salaries from the company accounts for the year ended 30 June 2017 are £4.6m not £7.8m (see page 22 of the link below).

I think we can happily deduce why the accountant is bored then - not very accurate and out of work?

The figure shown as wages is the total operating costs for the season - puts the whole report in some doubt
