He wasn't Peterboro's top scorer and the Posh fans booed him when he came on. He was their top scorer with 13 goals, including one at our place against us. It was a minority of Peterborough’s support that booed him, a fair few were sad to see him go. But, only 10 league goals which was bettered by six midfielders and matched by a right back and a central midfielder.

Potentially a good move for all parties.
Thanks for the memories, and all the best Rory. I'll be having a nibble on Salford to go up.

Money aside I think this shows a lack of ambition from Rory as he will be at least 2 years in a lower league.
That's his choice though and its a shame he couldn't score consistently like he did when on loan.
That loan spell was crucial to the promotion from L2 so should still leave with credit!

Replacement must be a done deal then, obviously. Yep, obviously, no worries, just wait a bit, just a little while, just. A little tiny bit. Not long now.

Yes they must have loved him.

Wish him all the best and thank him for the goals but I am very happy with this move, we need much better if we’re going to progress

Telford to to replace him? That wouldn’t be replacing him would it as Telford was here last year anyway?

Choice between sitting on the bench in a higher league or earning 2x as much money playing every week.... tough choice that one!

Wow! I'm shocked! Nice to see us get a fee for Rory though!
I'm shocked on a few different points really, firstly that Rory would drop down that low. Secondly because I really thought he is a good back up for us. Thirdly because quite frankly this is probably signing of the season for any National League side.
Honestly, Rory was one of my favourite players while here. He scored some cracking goals and some of those were bloody important. I'll certainly be following Rory to see how he does, great servant who always gave 100% even when he was on a rough patch of form. Something many players in todays game could learn from.
Good Luck Rory!

This is getting a bit creepy, I have a near 100% record of including a players name as part of my password and they then either leave or get injured within the month. I am due to change it again shortly, any suggestions?
