In Spain at the moment but when I get back I will contact a friend who has a private pilots licence and see if he can fly us up. Did it to Blackpool a few years ago and was back in the pub in Bristol by 7.30pm. In December, from one end of the country to the other with very short daylight hours. Good luck with that one. Maybe over two days if you're very lucky with the weather. And if the person with the ppl is willing to contravene the rules of his licence by charging passengers. If he is, better not publicise it on an open forum. Its ok to fly passengers but not charge them for the privilege.

Easyjet will do the same for the Edinburgh flights as soon as numbers start rising - will only need 20 or so booking seats for the prices to start rising dramatically again. I hope the team weren't planning to fly up by easyjet. A (good) car with 4 passengers with 2 drivers leaving Bristol at 6 am will get to Sunderland around 1 o'clock - and home around midnight. Cost each around £35. Wouldnt be be surprised if Sunderland shut the top tier or sections of the stadium off whilst they are in this division. Come on it’s 5 hrs max. I've driven it from Weston and it was 5 an 1/2 hours on a Sunday

I've driven it from Weston and it was 5 an 1/2 hours on a Sunday I have researched this very thoroughly and can confirm the BBC long range weather forecast has stated there is a cold front expected on the 15th December 2018 with -10 degree frost that will over come the undersoil heating at the Stadium of Light following earlier extensive flooding in the Sunderland area. Also as Sunderland are expected to top the table with Rovers 4th in the table in early December the match will be moved to the following Tuesday night and be broadcast live on Sky TV. Beam back to the Men is already being looked into with £2.50 per pint on offer in the refurbished bars with Irene's Kitchen offering cheap chicken in the basket deals at £2.50. Also as it is nearly Xmas a special Santa's grotto will be set up on the carpark selling special blue and white quarter Xmas trees to season ticket holders at £5/m and £6/m to cheap skates who didn't but one. Each tree will come with a signed label by the complete Rovers board. For an extra £5 is will come with a team signed label. I'm not sure now if I should buy an easy jet ticket for the 15th December, book a National Coach, train or Megabus and just sit tight hoping also that I can buy a ticket for the game anyway on whatever date the FA decide to play the game? Fook these TV deals that pay ridiculous sums of money to clubs and players at the expense of fans who try and plan to support them. It's all part and parcel of following your team, will we win or lose, will the game be on the date proposed, will I have to pay twice (yes if it's Wyconbe), would we have it any other way?
