I wonder if it applies to the plastic cups you're forced to have a pint in a half time. I'm all for progress if they do away with those!

Good stuff. If I remember correctly, it was only a few months ago that I saw someone mention this to Tom on Twitter and asked if the club were looking into it.

All plastics should be of the biodegradable variety where possible.

The meltdown from some of the older fans on the first home game of the season is going to be glorious! Not only will they be fuming about moving out of the 90's with the season ticket cards, now this!

Yet more evidence we will be staying at the mem indefinitely. If the club are committed to reducing plastics they're not going to be making thousands of football stadium seats are they?

I heard from someone itk that our new stadium is gonna be biodegradable so we won't need planning permission for it.

It will be biodegradable seats so they will only last a season or 2, in time to move into the UWE stadium which will apparently get the go ahead once again but this time with a watertight contract

Ironically we'll now have plastic STs instead of paper and card.

Ironically we'll now have plastic STs instead of paper and card. I've heard a rumour that the reducing plastics announcement is to allow the club to back down from producing the new season ticket cards because Hani won't OK the finance for it.

Single use plastics? Well, that's Hani's credit card then đ
Could they also introduce a deposit scheme with returnees being put into a prize draw or have a reduction on their next drink?

I donât want, ahem,....they wouldnât want their seats to dissolve just before half time.

Great. First the UWE negotiations and now it's our cups that break down ffs! We are good at bottling stuff. Letâs hope it doesnât trickle down into the first team as we need a good run in the cup so we can bag ourselves a good tie.
