Congratulations Gavin, you have been selected as the scapegoat/stick to beat the owners/manager with for the 2018/19 season (and you haven't even signed yet) Tom Nichols is estactic with the news doing somersaults in his garden ๐ So peterparker - why do like a comment by a poster taking the water out of one of our own players? Is TN one of your scapegoats?

I will be absolutely shocked if we now sign players that are actually that wanted by the teams they are playing for. Do you get any enjoyment at all from watching Rovers ? I ask because sheer pain and angst seems to flow through every other post even though you are clearly a totally dedicated gas head. I genuinely don't get it. Wimbledon hasn't even started yet and the negativity has already commenced. Enjoy the summer, enjoy the fact we have a decent manager, dedicated players and the club is in an upward trajectory and are a million miles from a where we were a few years ago. Try try it.

I personally will not believe anything regards new signings' until the club announces it.....
I would also like to think that DC will bring in at least one quality striker in the coming weeks as we are drastically lacking in firepower although Ellis Harrison did have a fairly decent season, it certainly is not enough if we are seriously going to challenge for a play off spot.

Why just post one sentence from Steve's post, did you actually read it, do you disagree with him that we need more quality and it's something we will struggle to get unless we offer better contracts etc? Perhaps like me Steve would like us to press on and really aim for a top 6 finish rather than be looking at another mid table next May.

How about waiting til the windows over before basically determining that our season will be a failure?

Thing is we don't know who we are targeting (how it should be) and what we are offering (How it should be)
The two signings we made came out of nowhere and we weren't linked with either of them as far as I am aware (How it should be)
we missed on a player who has moved to a bigger club, probably doubled his wages and he doesn't have to move.
Let's wait and see before people start sh**ting themselves., it's only the 28th June

How can we have "missed out" on a player we never had a hope in hell of signing, why would Taylor even consider a move to Bristol when he could stay in London on two or three times what we could ever hope to offer him.

He's roughly about 5ft 9in. I wouldn't trust anyone on here giving a police witness statement. Seems we are after a dwarf or man mountain depending on which description you read. This isn't good enough, perhaps the evening post can get one of their top investigative reporters on to it? Are the press allowed to hack into his medical records?

Disley was one of the best headers of the ball we've had and he wasn't that tall. It's about how well they can leap and timing as much as anything else. Having said that i would like some stronger strikers who can hold on to the ball better.

Whether you know him or not, know his height or not, know his weight or not whether we sign him or not - trust in DC.
Pretty sure most of us didn't know of most of DC's signings since he's joined and we've ended up having the most successful spell some of us have ever seen.
More of the same please!

I agree actually, despite what I've previously written. The thing with DC is, he's seemingly a good man-manager and manages to get the best out of players and even improve them where possible. Hopefully that is the case with Reilly if we sign him!
