Wonder if mensah's going to get much of a look in next season with Rodman and Bennett ahead of him?

Rodders is a really good signing, well done DC. All we need is a left back, Lumley and a goal scorer

The Shrews fans seem upset he's gone, although some are suggesting Rodders is on his way down. I would hope that at 31 he will have the craft and guile of experience to go with his undoubted stamina and skill. Players are still able to perform in their early 30's these days, just look at Linesy. He used to be a real waterhead in his younger days but sorted himself and looks after his health much better now.
Some Shrews fans are laughing at us, asking why he would want to come to us as we're not as big as them etc etc. Well, how about the fact we get at least twice the crowd that you do, and if we were to have a season like you've just had we would sell out our stadium every home game, not have a pathetic, miserable 5000 like you were getting.
Shropshire peasants.

Look at the pathetic following they took to Wembley this or the season we played them in the final.

Rodders is a really good signing, well done DC. All we need is a left back, Lumley and a goal scorer Limley is hoping to be QPR's No1, or at least No2, now Smith's been sold, I can't see him joining us unless QPR sign another keeper to replace Smith. Shrewsbury fans now saying Rodders is over the hill would have probably been celebrating if he'd signed a new 2 year contract, assuming he can continue last season's form this looks one of the best signings of an experienced pacy wide man for years. Watching Bennett down one wing and Rodwell down the right should be good to watch this season.

They were on his Instagram account begging him to re-sign - as you say, mainly sour grapes now he's come to us.

Hopefully have to up their games and find more consistency, well Ollie for sure. Anyway DC loves to change the team so i expect they'll all get opportunities .

If we did that there wouldn't be a spare place in the ground from the 4th home game onwards. They stayed in the autos for pretty much the whole of the season. In those circumstances we would manage 10,000 fans every home game. what did for them was the distraction of that stupid Mickey Mouse cup and the fact they didn't have the means to bring anyone in during the January window.

This is very promising. His work rate and desire to do his defensive duty makes him sound very much a DC player.

They brought in Luke Hendrie, Abo Eisa and Sam Jones for fees and signed Nathan Thomas on loan in January.

...and they think they have the natural replacement for Rodman in Eisa, based on comments on their forum
