Isn't the problem that they're spending too much and are not gasheads? Anyway I told that poor other bloke off so you can have a telling off too - this endless sh1te is boring and only really feeds into their drip drip crapola. Talk about footie fer gawdsake.Sorry, I didn't realise we had a match - when was it? - Saturday v Cheddar.

It seems to have gone quiet lately, perhaps they are on holiday? Who? why those that continually post against the current owners and the Board. I note the occasional protest, but they certainly seem to have gone to ground as more and more news is released about money being spent on players, facilities, staff and much more. AND rumour has it there is more to come. We may well look across the city with some envy at times but worth recalling the old saying because it was the tortoise that won the race!!!!!!! So you think two new tents and the signing a 31 year old winger from Shrewsbury is another step nearer challenging the 82er's, has the heat got to you or have you just lost the plot? And where has the spending of MULTI-MILLIONS got the 82er's? - they seem to be standing still to me. The GAS on the other hand have won two promotions whilst spending virtually nothing. Anyone can spend money, it takes a good manager to create a winning side, especially when spending next to nothing. DC reminds me so much like Gerry Francis - spending the clubs money like it was his own.

I thought we paid around £250k for him. Remember thinking "how much?" for a non league striker! What a player though. Good business by Olly, that was.

DC's doing a great job but to make the step from top 10 Div 1 side to a Championship side is going to take serious investment, unless the plan is just to wait for the 82er's to go bust and then join us back in Div 1!

what have we spent on players? If we go out and pay 500k-1m on a striker (like the Cheltenham kiddy)I will hold my hands up and say fairplay we want to go up But don’t think it’s there, chuffed with the Rodman signing but whose going to be converting his crosses Ellis? He isn’t that type of player and those type of players normally cost good money. We were lucky with the snake and may not be another around like him for free unless we dip into the championship and pay big wages for a out of favour loan move Perhaps you forget Martin, Ellington, Roberts, Hayles etc - and recently Taylor, Bodin - all cost £0 hayles wasn’t free

I know that spending on transfer fees excites supporters, but the point is - the Club are spending on the backroom and building under DCs supervision a team of experts who will produce and sign the players that BRFC need. Similarly in the Board room. At the same time spending money on the 'matchday experience' for supporters. As for Company debt more than half of that was used to cover off the previous administration and their adventures into stadium design and litigation. And as for 'serious investment' - easy to say when it is not your money isn't it? But unlike you, it seems, I consider £15 million to be serious investment. I don't think Mr L is likely to go bust - but I do wonder if he hasn't thought to himself " Why am I spending all my hard earned money just to tread water and stave off relegation"

With all this positivity I'm expecting South Glos to approve the planning application for the training ground any day now.

Have a horrible feeling the locks to the doors were changed as part of the recent renovation and Gasincider et al may be trapped in the corridors of power If you knew why Gasincider has not posted recently, you would hang your head in shame. Then again, perhaps you wouldn't.

I think that's wrong, I'm almost certain we paid a significant fee for Hayles?
