as this kit was never announced it makes me think that it's been designed and manufactured since well into the season....
whether it's superstition, psychological, or simply the team didn't get on with the white kit for whatever reason, I would now bet that the yellow kit is the second strip and the white kit is probably unlikely to ever be seen again....

Struck me by surprise when they came out in it. So much so that for the first 2-3 minutes they were out on the pitch before kick-off I thought we forgot our kits and were wearing a Eastleigh away strip or something. Really liked the kit, though.

Bah! I still want quarters. Red and green, purple and black - you name it, I'm easy. I just think that we lose our famous look (as all clubs do) when we have to change, but we could still be identifiably Rovers if the design was quarters, no matter what the colours.

Are we and Wycombe the only clubs with quarters?

Are we and Wycombe the only clubs with quarters? erm.... it depresses me to say that Wycombe are the only league club with quarters.... are we the only non-league team in quarters.... I doubt it very much....

I doubt it very much.... Yes, that did occur to me, but I was too sensitive to say it. A good example of just what relegation from the League means. I suppose I could have said, the only professional clubs. How's that?

We'll I'm damned. If we don' t get any money out of Sainsbury's, we may need to make Wealdstone an offer for their old shirts, on the cheap.

Yes, there's no stadium behind. My god, it's almost as if... they're playing in the Conference!

RED??Wash your mouth out with hot mustard & pour extra strong domestos on your keyboard. Woy Woy, one of my local clubs. The adults play in quarters. The kids play in white. Hopefully my son will be changing to them next season. The bloke in the quarter shirt is the Mariners ambassador player to Woy Woy.

When I said "red", I meant, of course... something else. I may have had a deranged moment.

The question is will this kit be available to buy in the shop soon? I asked about the shirt at the supporters club shop yesterday whilst getting me Aldershot ticket and it won't be for sale due to poor sales of the home and away shirts. Too much of a risk financially apparently which is a massive shame as it's the best looking shirt we've had in ages!
