The question is will this kit be available to buy in the shop soon? I asked about the shirt at the supporters club shop yesterday whilst getting me Aldershot ticket and it won't be for sale due to poor sales of the home and away shirts. Too much of a risk financially apparently which is a massive shame as it's the best looking shirt we've had in ages! That's because the away shirt is ghastly!

The fact is that a 'cool' brand like Adidas, Nike or Puma would appeal to supporters. The product would also be better value for money, unlike the cheap tat that Errea supply. It wouldn't just be the kits that would sell in greater numbers. Have you seen the BRFC coats that are currently on sale? Red? ffs You could find a better fitting gillette in Asda or Primark at half the price. A decent kit maker means better leisurewear as unlike Errea, they would probably want full control over products in the club shop.

No one at the Club would think we would sell a red coat would they?

How the f**k is the home shirt not selling well? It's my favourite home shirt in years but for weeks I couldn't work out why. Then I realised it's because there's no sponsor on the back making it look quite retro. Away shirt is neither here nor there, yet I've still bought one.

Are they just buying all the XXL over stock from Aldi and sticking a Rovers badge on?

The question is couldn't we start the sort of campaign that got the pink shirts released. Even a limited issue would be better than nothing. If enough people asked for it then it might bet them thinking about it. If not that then they should seriously consider promoting it to second kit for next season.

How many times are we really going to need them? Could make a few quid for charity or something.

The club shop has also had some really nice winter stuff but don't get in enough of the sizes to get sales. I would have bought so much more were it available. The same goes for the SC. They have often just taken one coach when demand was higher.

Whilst I think the home shirt is better in design than last years offering I am afraid the quality is woeful. Compare the quality of the fabric, the fact you you can hear stitching popping as you stretch it to get it over your shoulders (and it's not 'just' because I a fat bar steward) and the lack of the usual little monickers (Pirates badge etc.) make it feel cheap and nasty. The away shirt is as bad if not worse and the design is frankly, a mess. I know the board will not entertain fans opinions in this vein but when we let BB who, without being disrespectful, is hardly 'down with the kids' pick and design our kit is a joke. I can live the reduction in quality .v. cost implications because we are in a tight financial position. Crap design should not be an issue.
My son bought me the green and black quarters replica shirt from Toff (Bukta) and it is cracking. It took a few weeks because they are made to order yet still cost the standard £40. Why we can't have the same deal for the 3rd kit baffles me, no wait, it is because Errea is a joke.

He's hardky a beacon of enterprise and success. Those who went to the marketing meeting saw this very clearly. I had hoped that maybe this was a genuine new start. Shaun, you should take the stuff back as unfit for purpose mate. It sounds bloody awful. The only stuff I have that has stood the test of time are the coats. Very good, waterproof and well priced. No surprise really as they were bought in then marked up as errea.
