But we are changing DC's brought in at least 3 decent signings and, so far, managed to retain all last season's best players, if he can also bring in a decent replacements for Gaffney & Brown he will have done a decent job this summer given the budget he's got to work with. If you're not happy with that then you seriously need to think about why you carry on supporting Rovers, as until we ever get a new ground then this is probably as good as it will get supporting Rovers, and apart from the odd season in what is now the Championship as good as it's ever been. 3 decent signings they haven't kicked a ball for us yet , we all thought Nicholls was a decent signing look what happened there. Let's see how they pan out after a good number of games before we call them decent that is if DC ever decides to play them But you wanted him sack tomorrow and not even given him a good number of games, make your mind up!

Oddly I agree with MG. I'd like the new kit to come out early to give people as much chance at possible to get it.
Ideally we would play in it on the last home game of the season like the Prem teams do. Obviously they are above us in the pecking order so might not be possible.

Happy to go on Holiday wearing last seasons strip,no one will know anywho. It’s actually better to be wearing the old kit when your having a bit of a ruck, or rolling around drunk in a Benidorm gutter. Cider me up Landlord.

I used to think the shirts should come out early but simply cannot bring myself to agree with anything the OP has to say, so I'm no longer arsed when they are released.

I agree. However, if there are a significant amount of additional sales that could be gained then why not pursue them? But unless we get to Wembley isn't there always a limit on how many shirts we will sell during a season, if a fan buys one to wear on his summer hols then they will probably be first in the queue when they do go on sell anyway. It's the fans who only occasionally buy one/wear one the club needs to try and sell to and I doubt they worry when they go on sale, a decent design and a good season will attract them. I disagree that they would be first in line anyway. Buying one for holiday is a sort of impulse buy. People go shopping specifically for “holiday clothes” and if a new Rovers kit was available many would buy one for holiday who wouldn’t necessarily buy one as standard. I do agree that they need to try and sell to occasional buyers though, they’re certainly not maximising the revenue available.

You've just found another gap in the market...those whose birthdays fall between end of the season and mid July!!

I think, if we have a new kit, it will be white and blue quarters. Just saying.

Not sure I can believe what I am reading here. The bloke leads us to the healthiest position for ages against all odds & shows loyalty far far greater than the club deserves & you don’t like him. What’s not to like?

Anyone remember when Geoff Dunford was in charge and for a while we changed the home kit one year and the away kit the following year. Of course in those days there weren't and sponsors on shirts or players names on the back.

The last couple of seasons before we left Eastville
