Are you serious? I don't post on here often, so excuse me if I have missed a joke. You have not missed a joke it's just that I cannot stand dc Is that football related though or the "joke" he made which you took offence to? If it is then perhaps it's best you stop supporting the club until he's moved on, as you clearly aren't enjoying supporting Rovers whilst DC remains in charge.

Surely by now everyone would realise Midland is an attention seeking WUM!
People fall for it every time!
People even bite when he moans about the new kit! Just ignore him!

I can just about accept the argument that you dont think he is the man to take us forward, even if i disagree, but how can you not support him?

I can't believe you aren't entertained watching Rovers he's hardly a defensive manager in fact at times we've probably lost games we shouldn't have purely by trying to win rather than settle for a point. What has DC done wrong ? personally I'm more than happy with back to back promotions two seasons of consolidation & a gradual strengthening of the playing side from top to bottom but each to their own.

Regardless what's DC got to do with the shirts, you seem to have a dislike of everything Rovers related not just DC after that "joke". When did you last post something positive about the club?

Not aimed at anyone but my theory is that there are some (I think my age and older who saw us playing at higher levels on a regular basis) who, psychologically, just cannot get over the fall to non-league. Anyone involved in that is, I their minds, tarnished by that. And look who is left - the man at the helm at the time for the last 8 games. There seem to be some who just cannot forgive.
I am not one of these people and love DC and all he’s done. I hope he is here for a very long time. This is not directed at midland (rather inspired by!) as there are a few others I’ve met who seem to be of the same opinion. And that’s fair enough if people think dc isn’t up to L1 ... but that doesn’t stop me despairing of them!

Absolutely not I support the players on the pitch and hope they give 100% every game but how can they when the team is chopped and changed left right and centre players need a good run in the side and we need to keep the same side as regularly as we can. i don't have a dislike of anything rovers and for one I like the mem although unfortunately I won't be going down wasting my money whilst DC is still there. and that was not a joke it was an insult to people with brain tumours which cannot be forgiven in my book as my father had one before we lost him. in my opinion all my posts are positive and in the clubs interest just because others have a different view is their problem not mine

I don't think that's right unfortunately I believe that our fall from grace did us good it brought the team together with the fans and to be fair DC did a great job in getting us 2 back to back promotions but now it's time for him to move on and for us to get a more experienced manager at this level to push us on to the next level

And that’s fair enough if people think dc isn’t up to L1 ... but that doesn’t stop me despairing of them! You may be right, but I think it's more like just symptomatic of some people who cannot see farther than the end of their noses. I remember very clearly when we were mid table in L1 under PT and LL, and many people were distinctly underwhelmed by this and calling for change. If we get to the Championship, I guarantee some supporters will complain if we were struggling or even "treading water" for a few seasons. To some, it always has to be progression and always has to be success, otherwise it simply isn't good enough. Frankly I think this attitude is at best short-sighted, at worst quite immature. My opinion of course. Similarly I looked at the Swansea fans last season getting all peeved that they were struggling in the Prem, and I just thought how can they be so upset, when most of them would remember them staying in the football league on the last day back in 2003. Surely in their case a bit of perspective at where they've come from and the size of the club and their history, wouldn't have gone amiss? I guarantee the same would happen with us if we were ever to get there, and then eventually fall back down again.

Surely though you can't say on one hand you think he did a great job, and then on the next hand say you can't stand him? Do you think your hatred of DC is perhaps a little OTT?

I went on a date once with a woman who was a gashead. She didn’t like Darrell Clarke.
There was no second date.

Although not really sure what you are expecting, DC's once again operating with a mid table budget with, it seems, zero transfer funds. A top 10 finish, with an outside chance of a top 6 finish, is the best we're going to achieve whoever is put in charge.
