It's got to be a spoof. Ask her to email the confirmation details from her official police email account. If it ends in police.uk it's real, otherwise it's someone pretending to be something they aren't, or worse a shithead !!!! What could be worse than being a shithead?

It seems strange she has run with this issue through pleasing OTIB users. One wonders if she has met an investigated those on there over certain comments made regarding the fight on Park Street. One poster said he could name at least 5 of the Rovers fans - was he publicaly asked to meet Julie H at a given time to investigate these claims and why as a city fan he isn't able to name any of his fellow supporters. Would have thought this would have been questioned when 6 people were arrested and someone needed hospital treatment

I tend to agree, but for her to arrange that meeting including the date & time & post it on otib forum, is IMO shocking if she is indeed a police officer, which I somehow doubt. Perhaps we should all turn up at Henbury's shop on said date & time 😂😂 Strange way of operating arranging a police investigation via a forum post as even I could get HG's phone no w/o too much effort, is this WPC really genuine? Bristol Rovers Dustbin Thread JulieH replied to 42nite's topic in Football Chat Well what a response on the other forum, clearly the fans there are not happy for me to go on and therefore I won’t. I will take henbury gas up on his offer and if he is monitoring I will come and see you Tuesday at 1500hrs !JulieH replied to 42nite's topic in Football Chat Right everyone I have spoken at length to henbury gas and with his permission can confirm I will be meeting him Tuesday both sets of fans want the same thing, an investigation to clear up what actually happened and that will be happening. i now won’t be able to comment about this case until that investigation is complete . 26 minutes ago 36,405 replies
The fact that she wants to air all her dirty laundry in public on the Teds forum is exactly the reason people don't want her on here. She could have had the decency to have just contacted one of us in private, or to have just joined up like everyone else. She made an account on OITB, but clearly made a decision not to make one here. She will always be seen as an extension of Bristol Sport and she has no one else to blame for that but herself.

Can't see any reason why she can't join us at least she is letting us know and not just joining annonomously By chatting about it on OTIB?

As others on here have verified, she is a bona fide policewoman - Football Liaison Officer, I believe. I wouldn't imagine that "monitoring" football forums yields much information which is useful for the police these days.

I personally feel that she has handled this very unprofessionally. I did post earlier that as a MOD I would not accept her' although I cannot speak on behalf of the other MODS.....
This, from from what I have just read' strengthens my original thoughts.
The Police (or most) of them do a wonderful job, however I don't trust them. I also have nothing to hide as I am a law abiding citizen, and an ex-Prison Officer. My experience at Ashton Gate a few years back, along with other past experiences make me believe Football and the Old Bill do not mix, we are all seen to be prospective Animals and treated thus!

If it is someone impersonating a police officer. I assume if she has been impersonating a PC her OTIB account would have been closed down by down? Unless someone has hacked her account recently you have to assume it's genuine, as strange as that seems to most of us.

"How is she?" I asked.
"Very critical," replied th officer.
"What's she chuffking complaining about now?" I said.

Also (sorry to keep harping on on this subject) how on earth can she not see that it is exactly this sort of behaviour which makes her coming onto this forum anathema to some. This is a completely and utterly inappropriate way to behave! The broadcasting of measures being taken into, what she claims to be, a police investigation is childish. Her announcing "I will be coming to see you" is just menacing. This is truly awful and if I'm honest, though a minor trifle, I'm sorry Henbury has had to experience it.
