I've moved house recently and decided I need to de-clutter. With sadness I've decided to get rid of a lot of my Rovers programmes. They only sit in the loft so better someone has some enjoyment out of them so looking to sell them. They range from mid 70's to mid 90s and about 200 or so. Need to count but a heavy box! Is this right forum to sell on or should I stick to ebay? UTG

Like yourself I have many programmes....
They are in a multitude of boxes. I actually think they're one of the most challenging things to own because they have so much value in one sense yet pretty much no value at all in another....
I'll probably leave it for someone else to work out what to do with mine when I die....

Bit of a long shot but does anyone have the programme for the home match 17th April 1976 v Southampton. The only reason for asking is this was my first ever game watching Rovers so would be nice to have the match day programme.

That is really kind of you to have found this for me. I don't have an eBay account if your happy to do this for me and give me either an address to send a cheque or account details to do an online transfer I would be so grateful. Thank you.

I've got loads from the 50s and 60s, given to me by me my grandad, and lots more I bought myself from the 70s onwards.
Watney Cup Final, the one where we played the Busby babes, away at City, League Cup heroics, Wembley 1995, etc.
I took them out of the loft a few months ago and had a good look through them for the first time in years. Fascinating, but also bloody annoying, because most of the early ones don't have the year the match was played, just the day and month.
I can't bear to part with them.

I’ve got every programme home and away, including friendliest , postponed reissues etc, since 5 Sept 1964 - v Carlisle at Eastville. ( first game I went to ). Got about 500 doubles of some of these. Let me know if you’re looking for anything in particular, as I’ve got loads of contacts from completing my collection.
