Don’t want to start a new thread, so thought this one was as good as any: does anyone know when the new home shirts will be available to walk in and buy at the shop? Looked on the website but can only see news from last week of pre-ordering. Bringing the little one down from the midlands on Saturday for the friendly and wondered if it’s too much to expect that we could buy replica kit on the day (knowing Rovers I should already know the answer!).

How is everyone getting on with our new sponsors online football game? 0.25% up! Not retiring yet! Trippier, Lloris & De Bruyne doing well. Hazard & Bale not so good! A few tips for any players. Nicolas Pepe, Ismaila Sarr, Maxi Gomez and Jean-Kevin Augustin might be worth considering. All quality young players. Get on it Pirate. You should be bang on it with your scouting expertise.

The £500 offer is putting me off a bit as not sure how much I should initially deposit.

I just did £10 to start off with to learn the game and once I figured it out, it was then I started to deposit £50. I’ve just been investing young and upcoming players and spreading the risk over a lot of players which has worked decently for me. You don’t get that much profit to start off with but it’s good fun and you make a decent amount after a while.

I'll be honest with you, I'm not entirely sure how Football Index works still, so probably not the best person to ask. Lol. All I know is I've spent £96.25 in total on my portfolio and they are now worth £226.00. I signed 9 players today and 6 of them have already increased in value, all be it only a few pence.

I did £10 but have since invested another £20. To me it doesn't seem worthwhile unless you're investing a lot and even then you'll probably have it sitting in there for a few months. With the up to £500 offer I don't think it's valid if you sell players. So by all means deposit and buy the players but wait the week out and if they're share price drops then by all means seek the refund via customer support.

As far as I'm aware you just click on the player you want to cash in on and press the sell button (however many shares you want to cash in), the money is then transferred to your balance and you can withdraw that into your bank account.

So if in theory you can draw out more than you paid in, where is that money coming from?
Presumably most people lose money on this site which is how they make enough money to sponsor us and such?
It's basically just fancy gambling right?
Most lose, a few win?

I must say it seems to me most people are up by more than 10 - 20% though, they will be bust soon! However only the people that are up tend to advertise it and or exaggerate!

I can honestly say all of the 39 players in my portfolio have increased in value, or 2 of the 9 I've signed today have stayed the same.

It's basically just fancy gambling right? Most lose, a few win? Player 1 buys Ronaldo at £8. Ronaldo is on incredible form, share price goes up to £8.50 Player 1 sells his Ronaldo share for £8.50 to player 2 Player 1 has gone from a £8 wallet to a £8.50 wallet FootballIndex take commission for each share sold.

I'm a little annoyed that Lucas Paqueta, Roger Guedes, Andrey and Pedro in Brazil aren't included, but Rodrygo is. Julián Carranza and Maximiliano Romero should also be included from Argentina. Come on Football Index, sort it out! Edit: Rodrygo has signed for Real Madrid, so that is probably why he is included now.

If it picks up and bearing in mind how big football is, I think it could do. Then I think more and more people will join it and shares will go up. So I think there could be a situation where football index AND a lot of people win that invest early on I.e now.

Agreed GGMI - if it succeeds it'll be around for as long as football is around.
Don't forget, you only get your money back if someone wants to buy your players (even at a low price as an immediate sale)!
It's good fun from what I've seen!
