Seems like generally good comments all round which is nice to hear. Sounds like a better version of Leadbitter - which sounds perfect

Strange that Huddersfield fans are so complimentary about us as i feel nothing but frustration towards them as they are always hard to beat, that 0-1 loss to them at the mem the season we were relegated from league one towards the backend of the season sticks out as one of the most emotional games ive been too!

The Play Off Final of 1994/95 is the sickener. Absolutely battered them, hit the woodwork about 3 times, Gareth Taylor missed an open goal. Marcus Stewart was phenomenal, they somehow beat us, then sign Stewart from us the season after. And that Fool Warnock. It still wateres me off to this day.

Probably because they feel we're easy to beat

As long as the club's medics are sure he's fully recovered from that complex injury then looks like an excellent signing.

In his interview to-day DC says that he's carrying an injury and will be paid on an appearance related deal.DC looking relaxed.

In his interview to-day DC says that he's carrying an injury and will be paid on an appearance related deal. And that’s exactly how it should be. Well done DC and good luck to the player, who like Bodin, has a chance to earn a contract later on.

In his interview to-day DC says that he's carrying an injury and will be paid on an appearance related deal. He didn’t say he was carrying an injury, he said he was coming back from one so it might take a bit of time before we see him at is best. He also said that he could be one of the best left backs in league one.

Looks a really promising signing. Reading an article about him by Kenny Jackett at Pompey, says he can play in a 3 or a 4 so quite versatile as well. Really hope he’s over the injury and can kick on with us.

No he said the fee (to Huddersfield) was appearance related not his pay Thanks for clarifying that. Still makes sense and good to hear that it’s a small fee. Here’s the interview. A bit concerned that DC seems to imply that he doesn’t know what he has to spend on a replacement for Ellis. It might be that he just got tangled up in his words a little. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2018/july/25.7.18-dc-interview/

Holmes-Dennis has had a few injuries recently and is coming back from a particularly nasty one so I’d be very surprised if we were to rely on him 100%. DC likes to have two players for every position and Kelly has proven in pre season that perhaps he’s a bit raw for first team football so I wouldn’t be surprised if we gave a 6 month deal to Golbourne so we do not have to rely on Holmes Dennis too much initially, which we could always extend if he performs well.

James Clarke has done well at left back when filling in. Craig can play there. I agree, if we bring in anyone else at left-back it will probably be short term or a loan.

Unless Wael now has to do a report justifying what he feels we need to spend for Hani, then it'll sit in his intray/mailbox for a week or two before he makes a decision.
