Fair enough. Solidarity with you Oldie. No court decision today, likely tomorrow. Anyone want to take a bet on another extension? This is going to a second vote I reckon. On a personal note, I am taking my family on holiday to France in November. I guess if it is no deal, our EHICs are invalid meaning we will need to take out additional health insurance. Care to guess the premium for a disabled child with severe health issues? Hi Stuart not sure if this is helpful,Josh our son has brain injuries from a tumour removal and a shunt installed plus he has Sodium Valporate poisoning. We insure through Direct Line they were very clear when I renewed in May that because he had no treatment in respect of the above for 12 months then it did not affect the premium I am not aware of your circumstances but might be worth a call. Best Clive

Why would you say something like that?
I don't come on here to be called names, I went through years of that at school, and I think I'm a bit too old for it to happen again.
And yes I would say it under my real name. The blokes a nause, he can't seem to go a few posts without name calling, I'm guessing he's in his 40's/50's, and to still be acting like that says it all about him.
Says the coward who insulted a man with his late wife. Theres only one child in this thread as far as I can see. Given what you say you've been through, you should be ashamed of your behaviour. Blocked.

Best Clive Thanks, will give them a try. Someone else recommended Fish Insurance for a stand alone policy. It's just hard to accept that we could be faced with an additional cost of several hundreds for something I didn't want and was apparantly a "million to one chance" just a month or two ago. Not sure whether our European Breakdown cover will apply either. Another possible expense.

Agreed Stuart we have an Apartment in Treviso so the costs have escalated a fair bit over the past 3 years heyho

Blocked. Works both ways. The poster who comments with most hatred and bile on here never apologises - presumably he should be equally as ashamed, especially since his insults are aimed at the majority of the population?

LOL coward??? Not ashamed in any way.
See the bloke who starts all this off with his constant name calling is the child here, if he hadn't kept doing this, this wouldn't have happened. But then, he wouldn't have been able to talk sensibly to others on here like most of us do.
Like I said coward? I'd happily say it to your or his face.
Take care

Let's hope for a favourable decision then. Fingers crossed.

Would love to be a fly on the wall in the Court's deliberations, fingers crossed for them finding against the "Government". Doesn't Johnson have to resign if they do? Surely. Under normal circumstances I would say so. In this chaotic inferno of hate I would say he probably feels entitled to do whatever he wants in the same way he has effectively been rewarded for doing and saying whatever he wants in his life so far. Exactly as I see it. Boris couldn't care less about the plebs, and he certainly isn't going to be booted out by such trivial considerations as honour, reputation, the law, or the future good of the country.

Unanimous decision, up to Speakers of both Houses what to do next. The summary was pretty damming. History in the making. Boris will bumble on, not answering questions about taking lady friends on official business.

How many times can this fool lose before he resigns?

How many times can this fool lose before he resigns? 11-0 is pretty damning.
I was expecting some sort of fudge decision along the lines of it was probably wrong, but not unlawful

Me too, although the hearing last week was interesting and definitely seemed to go against the Government.

So there is a big part of me that understands Boris and most politicians are puppets really. What I cant understand is how they manage to seemingly completely avoid any talent whatsoever when recruiting their advisors. Cummings and Milne must be the worst strategists in UK politics I can remember. Still, I'm sure we will hear from some that being ruled unlawful was all part of the master plan...
