The club continues to wade through treacle in its transfer dealings for strikers , I suggests the the manager gives the owner his transfer list and owner give the manager the funds received for Rory and Ellis to get the targets. The owner needs to understand that the season ticket holders who have already invested their hard earned cash in the club need strikers in at least equal in value to those that have been sold. I also seriously ask why the club needs both a Chairman and a CEO, it should be one or the other. Seems we couldn't close the deal on a striker last Friday because we couldn't get the medical done on that day, so we we have senior white collar staff but nobody to turn the handle to complete the transfer process quickly. From the season ticket holders perspective the situation is not good enough Not sure any of us really expected the full £1m to be reinvested but £400K to £500K surely wouldn't have broke the club, what I don't really understand is what would have happened if we hadn't sold Harrison & Gaffney as the owners would be around £1M down. Now you have to fear if somebody comes in late with an offer of £5OOK for Locks he'll be off as well w/o a decent replacement being brought in. As far as the medical we don't really know where the blame lies, did the player just pull a "sicky" to give his agent more time to sound out Coventry about a better offer?

My problem with Wael is he seems a nice bloke and is happy to take everything in his stride when going well. When things are going badly, the bloke seems to go hiding and doesn't seem to accept the problems or be forthright with what is going on. I also don't like him private messaging different fans about certain things, It's unprofessional. Either come out in public or shut up. Seems out of his depth at times. It worries me that he doesn't know what is going on himself at times too.
Worried that he'll play all the fluffy nonsense on Saturday, especially if we get Payne in. And everything is all nice and rosey with the world again. Geoff needs to give him a right good grilling otherwise it's a waste of time and just a PR exercise.

I'm expecting a lot of fluff, as it's timed just after our new signing.

Would have preferred him to have gone on Having a Gas so fans could ring up and ask questions. Still remember when we got relegated to the Conference and DC was the only one who had the bottle to appear on the show and face the fans. Earned maximum respect from me.

One simple question for Wael.
Are the Cheltenham consultants used to get the training ground off the ground, still employed by us?

We had no choice of Evolution at Twerton, in fact we had naff all' but when we got money... (Gary Penrice and Nige Martyyn' and the season that followed) we bought decent players.... We invested in the team. No disrespect to players already signed

I do not understand why no REAL investments are made when we need two or three new players, and one of those to be half decent at least. Losing my faith in Al Qaudi family, don't need no sh** stands, or £4 sausage Rolls we need at least two statements of intent

We bought Gary Waddock, Andy Tilston and Justin Channing out that money as well as Carl Saunders... When Devon White went, we hit the Great John Taylor and £100'000
Now that's business, and we were playing then in a sh** pit
