Hopefully Wael will announce a new stand for exclusive use by the BR-moaners. No expensive tea or sausage rolls available but brand new hand-wringing machines in the toilets. It'll be easily recognisable as it will face the car park not the pristine pitch. Just a normal stand being built like virtually every club in the country has provided for their supporters in recent years will do. When was the last time Rovers built anything permanent (and I don't count the tin roof being put over the blackthorn end)?must be 70+ years? Would hazard a guess its to do with the constant pipe dream we are sold of a new stadium?
and no I wouldn't have him back

Not much of a point, though, is it? People often wash their car. Doesn't mean they're gonna sell it. A friend recently washed her car, locked her keys inside & spent a stressful hour (& £80 she can't really afford) sorting it out. True story. God knows what it means though #zen #aphorism? Is she in charge of the new turnstiles?

I am hoping tomorrow’s interview will give us some indication of the long term plans. Perhaps an update on the situation regarding the Colony. I don’t think for a moment there are any plans to significantly improve the Mem beyond what they are doing now, so unless a new site for a stadium can be found I think they will eventually sell the club. Only my opinion and happy to be proved wrong. If it's a live interview at the ground my money is him spending most of the time talking about this summer's transfer and the Mem improvements if psuh by 20man he'll most likley say the CEO has been brought into to review all aspects of the club and until that's completed it would be unfair to comment. If however he surprises us with some positive news I think we'll all be happy.

That's exactly what I was thinking. And £80? I know plenty of youths who would have got her keys out for her for little more than a tenner and a kebab. We live near poshville. And in the sticks. Kids 'round ere won't get out of bed for less than a new Smiggle rucksack & some Joules clothes. Some of them have moved to bungalows just so they don't need to do stairs 😂

And then along came the Al-Qadi family and saved our Club and the then Board from bankruptcy and oblivion only to find they get flack from some of those who should know better - enough to make anyone walk away and say enjoy oblivion?

They haven’t exactly saved this club yet and how do you know we would of went bankrupt with the 10 other parties interested? not one or two but ten.

They won't walk until they can some how recover the £5/6m extra debts they've managed to run up since saving the club!

But have run up debts of many more millions, but will expect to recover all these if and when they sell the club. I'm waiting to hear what happened at yesterdays Board meeting. Good news?

There's always something to moan about, every time the club get one burning issue cleared up, a minority of negative keyboard warriors move onto something else.
Just get a life, watch the games, support the lads, come away, forget about it, gomto next game....etc etc
There's some real bores on this forum

We are spiralling into even larger unsustainable debt - and whilst we remain at The Dump (however much it's tarted up) the debt will continue to spiral. We are kidding ourselves if we think differently.

Not as tough as i would like on occasions, no. Hopefully that will change this weekend. The Bristol Post are useless in this regard too and never ask any probing questions of the powers that be or do any sort of investigative journalism. Far too cosy a relationship for my liking. I disagree with both of you. I think Geoff is usually as tough as he can be, given the circumstances. I agree you cannot do a lot on the BBC let alone be controversial. It's full of left wing nicey nicey luvvies
