Calm down, who's having a melting down, if you're happy for the club to keep coming up with excuses rather than just tell us the facts then so be it but I bet most of the posters on your own forum you moderate won't see it that way. Not sure what you think the club is for. But istm it should be trying to plan stuff, solve stuff, and then announce stuff. It's not there to give you the ins and outs of everything they do, especially their mistakes, for your prurient satisfaction. Yes, we might be a bit sh** at lots of that, but there's nothing to gain by raking over old ground and pinpointing blame for the benefit of fans. Signing Bakayoko went wrong, and although I'd be interested in knowing what happened it would be ridiculous of me to demand or expect to get the nitty-gritty from either side. Similarly we f**ked up the new stands, and again I'd be interested to know how that happened, but again it would be ridiculous of me to demand of the club to know exactly how it happened. No companies do this. They just try to solve what went wrong and move on, keeping the details and lessons learned in-house. All true and I can’t get too excited about any of these sponsor, shirt, player, stand, food, training ground niggles individually. But collectively they smack of a rudderless ship crewed by a team of well paid so say professional people (chairman, ceo, commercial director, recruitment director) that don’t have a clue about lots of things. Let’s hope they have a clue about something else somebody is taking the water out of us all. All companies cock up but most do a better job of keeping it a secret

Perhaps he is the key to putting it right and co-ordinating the ship
