Hiya gasheads, hope your all well. Due to lack of financial ambition floating around BRFC at this day in age and us being gifted with such a young talented managerial mastermind in Darrell Clarke if he was to walk away who would be your no.1 option? Personally, my no.1 option would be Darren Way who is doing fantastic job at YTFC with very little ambition and budget and seems a good manager in terms of recruitment. Just a little thought Gas Army! You are a yeovile fan & I claim the £1 prize for spotting this. BRFC would pay a large sum of money to keep Way a long long way from the Mem. Not a Yeovile fan in a million years was at P’boro on Saturday 👍

DC must stay for this clubs sake- he must be watered off with the lack of progress. Hes a fantastic manager so everybody tell him so- make him feel wanted.. The fans are watered off but DC must be mega watered off.

If DC left, life would go on. Exactly. The fact is that, with one or two obvious exceptions, the life cycle of a manager at a club is limited. After 3 years you are considered to be “Long serving”. Possibly on borrowed time as events/ lack of success/expectations will not be met etc. You can argue the circumstances around any individual managers departure and if they could have been postponed etc but there is in football management an almost inevitable life cycle. Not saying I agree with it (some comings and goings appear beyond parody) or that I want DC to go. (I don’t). BUT it’s no good thinking it won’t happen, it will. Whether or not this is the beginning of the end....who knows?? But let’s just accept it will happen, if not under these circumstances then some others in the future. Probably stating the bleeding obvious I know. All I can fall back is the experience of life and over 50 years following this club (on the road to nowhere for most of that time) having seen many managers (both good and bad) come and go and look at it as just another life cycle beginning and ending (IF that is what is happens). Whatever happens, the fans are the constant at a football club. We will always be there. Honest, we will. 👍

Not the worst ever, but hard to read, and also it makes people ignore your good points because they can't be bothered to squint their eyes to see it. (Applies only to Oldies. But that's a lot of us).

Are you my English teacher from school? Blimey you’ve done well to hang on this long.😀 I’m sure that’s an exact copy of a report I once had! 🤔🤔

DC is on a good salary, and having achieved a lower position in the Table compared with last, he is not as sought after as he would otherwise have been. So yes WE Love him, & yes there are mitigating reasons for not improving year on year (selling players etc), but he doesn’t even feature in the top 10 betting for most championship jobs, he needs to find a way to get us nearer the playoffs / promotion, then his stock would rise again.
But to answer the question, I wouldn’t want Way, but would take Ollie like a shot, even knowing you should never go back! UTG

So not only scraping the barrel for forwards we would be for a manager as well. Sorry but in my opinion Holloway has had his time I'm afraid.

It would be shocking if DC were to leave, right now the club has a crisis with its inability to sign number nines. The club at the highest level now needs to step up to the plate and back the manager, the money brought it from the sale of our two strikers needs to be reinvested in two new strikers. Act today this day and tell the manager he is being fully backed, and move in the transfer market with commitment and intention, and by the way get an efficient medical procedure up and up and running.

I hate my job most of the time, but they pay me, which in turn pays my mortgage - DC just needs to get on with it, he's paid handsomely - I'm sure he takes the rough with the smooth. Must be boring managing the likes of Man City, the ease of signing whoever you want, whenever you want - where's the challenge in that (I know, I know)! If he wants an easy ride he should move on - never gonna happen at the Gas!!!
