I really hope we never lose DC but who could blame him if he walked/accepted the next approach from a club who wants him, even if they aren't as big as Leeds/Norwich.
Guy has done a magnificent job here, and whilst he's been backed it's just a shame he isn't backed more. We add quality signings every year but are always 1 or 2 short and then the next window we lose our best player. Repeat.
And if Holloway was to be his replacement I would be majorly watered off.

Really - majorly watered off cause if he was asked and he gave it a go..... Not saying he is the best choice but with the utter sh** we have had as managers, players and staff over the years... that would water you off...!!! Wow shows no matter what, you cant please our fan base...

Going from DC to IH would be a big step backwards.

If he was to go the only replacement I would be satisfied with is Ian Holloway At least you'd be in League 2 then with your mate Way. Although he may of not had an amazing record with us his record at clubs such as palace and Blackpool were good. He could also attract higher standard players due to his reputation of managing at a higher level.

His record with us was better than most and he was trying to get us in the championship ...we didn't get rid of our strikers for peanuts and the board f**ked him over still selling all the best player year in year out.... If DC did leave ...then he would probably laugh at us as a club now ...been involved in 500 games and still slated cause of the board at the time restricted his abilities to win... he had it no better than DC, now yet cause DC took us from the conference to league one..makes him better ? cause with little support Ollie got couldn't just get us to the championship ... that a fair playing field....

Don't like this sort of thread but I think DC is very p!ssed off at the moment
A bit of success will go a long way to tempering that but can't see us being top ten or better currently
We had a golden chance to hit top six until the snake left and with latest 3 window departures and little reinvestment on or off the pitch I'm struggling to see us achieving that again
Last year the league was harder than the season of the snake and this year it will be harder still
I believe the owners are happy to tread water - but you can only do that so long before you start swallowing the stuff
cant think beyond DC at the moment, but one thing for sure is - one day it will happen

Marcus Stewart would be likely unless he goes with DC Ah ha, now we know you're not a rovers fan.

Not sure if I'm allowed to be serious on a forum, but Darren way is actually a pretty clever bloke, just let down by a monotone that makes him sound thick.
Had an interesting life & career; one that sets him up well for managing in the lower divisions at least.

can't come soon enough but whoever takes over and here us me hoping it will be Holloway as a massive task to get this squad sorted out with the mess it is in at the moment and will need all the time they can get to stop us getting relegated this season

It's difficult to fathom the view that Clarke leaving can't come soon enough and more to the point that Holloway would and should be his replacement. One man's view I know, but god help us..........
