Nonsense we moaned just as much when we were last in Div 1 and SL hadn't started his spending spree, what's irritating is we now have apparently wealthy foreign owners who don't want to really invest in the club. Although the real danger is if we get City like you say we'll eventually become similar to Port Vale and Stoke, you can now never see the latter ever getting on similar terms. You could have said the same about Bournemouth and Southampton a few years ago. Or Man C and Man U. Bournemouth and Man City's owners are completely different to ours. Can't compare.

Bournemouth and Man City's owners are completely different to ours. Can't compare. No one was comparing the owners. Were you not? The only reason Bournemouth and Man City have overtaken Southampton and Man United respectively is because their owners have provided them with more cash over the last few years. I can't see the Al-Qadis ever outspending Lansdown.

The only thing our club is rich in is history and the fact that we add to it every year has to be a good thing.

Yes, I was responding to a post which said "we'll eventually become similar to Port Vale and Stoke, you can now never see the latter ever getting on similar terms. " Nothing to do with owners. Man C didn't have the same owners as they do now when they were in div 3. etc.

Match day programme will arrive late (on Monday) Due delivery is Friday 🙏🙏 Printer is near Walsall (true!) No jokes please So they'll end up in Coventry then as they'll decide last minute that they prefer being handed out at the Ricoh.

But I thought you were making the example of Bournemouth and Man City in regards to who would of thought they would of overtaken Southampton and Man United a few years back? Or that's how it came across. Hence why I commented the only reason they have done is because of owners putting their hands in their pockets. Although I don't think we'll ever be as far apart as Stoke and Port Vale were, Stoke in The Premier League and Port Vale in League 2, I can't see us being above City anytime soon in the forseeable future while their bankrolled by Billionaire Lansdown and we don't even look like breaking our 26 year old transfer record any time soon. That was the point I was making. Sorry if I got the wrong end of the stick.

GOOD NEWS!!!! Being in League 1? after literally being a non league club a few years ago and could still be there now if not for 5 great penalties. Most of us would of chopped off our left bollock to be where we are now back then. The only reason we water and moan so much is because of whats happening with them inbreds the other side of the river great stadium more money Pretty much better everything apart from our fans. If city wasn't in the picture and it was just us their wouldn't be half the moaning that goes on. Because were trying to compete with a rival we just cant compete with at the moment. so just take stock of what we have achieved in the last few seasons and forget them and everyone might just feel that little bit more happier. (MAYBE) UTG Nonsense we moaned just as much when we were last in Div 1 and SL hadn't started his spending spree, what's irritating is we now have apparently wealthy foreign owners who don't want to really invest in the club. Although the real danger is if we get City like you say we'll eventually become similar to Port Vale and Stoke, you can now never see the latter ever getting on similar terms. Topper Gas who actually thought Rome was built in a day!! And not once did the owners say they were going to splash the cash? Are they improving the mem not to the standard we want but it is improving slowly-again Rome wasn't built in a day!! And the last time were in Div 1 we only really ever moaned was when we lost to the sh** and eventually got relegated-which really proves my point above their wasn't a lot of moaning when we beat them in matches and to league titles we actually loved the fact ragbag rovers would do them over we were proud of it. But your right our owners are the richest in the clubs history but lets be realistic if in 10 years were still where we are ill be the first one to drag um on a plane back to Jordan but i've got a feeling we'll be doing alright you don't buy a club for millions and clear there debts just remember if it wasn't for them we would probably be starting again in the Ivo stick league. THIS ISN'T FOOTBALL MANAGER THIS IS REAL LIFE.
