Halford would be a good addition. Wages might be the problem there though.

Deadline Day should be a national holiday but unfortunately I have to go to work.
However, hoping to check in to GasChat from time to time to keep up to date with all our signings.
If someone could compile a list of all the players Rovers sign today, their position and how many millions they cost that would be great.

He would obviously have to be realistic with his wage demands, but if he was willing and we could afford him with our budget and still strengthen the other areas, I reckon it would be a good signing. Versatile too, can play right back and virtually all positions. Mills would also be decent, realistic wages permitting.

I'm not ITK, however I have heard unconfirmed reports that Rovers have booked a complete floor in the Bristol Hotel.

Has Gaschat allocated resources around Bristol so it can report on today's possible signings? We need someone at Bristol Airport to keep an eye out for private jets coming from places like Madrid, Barcelona or anywhere in Italy. We need to get someone down to Temple Meads to face check people leaving the station. Best get someone down to the Bus Station as well. Don't forget, we are still looking for bargains in Poundstretchers. Top spot, I assume, will be in the car park at the Mem. We need a quick interview through the car window with DC. Any volunteers? We also need a spotter down trashton gate to note the players coming on loan to us (Snake comes to mind)........

Any chance of Ivan Toney on loan? I know it was discussed before but he still hasn’t been loaned out and had a good goal record at Scunthorpe last season

What's your thoughts on Rocky Neale, Pirate? He's recently joined Taunton after pretty prolific spells at Bodmin and Truro. Just wondered if you've seen much of him?

Just wondered if you've seen much of him? Watched him at Bodmin as my grandparents live there. 60 goals in 40 odd games for them. Good player, but probably not good enough for this level.

FFS, not that I'm that bothered by Ivan Toney, but I swear Posh sign so many players that half the reason is so their competitors don't get them! How big is their squad?! They do my head in!

Just chucking a name out there but what about Mathis Bolly 6”1 pace for days and without a club can play up front or on the wing. Signed him on my Fifa career mode and scored 15 from the wing so a guaranteed great signing

Pirate if DC plays sercombe,James Clarke on the left we will struggle. like you said sercombe best in midfield and that’s were he prefers to play I can see him getting watered off. I just don’t understand DC sometimes I think he plays players out of position just too accommodate others. He brought in KB and Rodman both wide players.

Not sure what his thinking was with those decisions, I suppose there wasn't much option at left back (apart from Kelly), but Sercs on the left was strange. I still think we could do with another wide man too.

Peterborough always buy these gems and sell them on for mega bucks. Their chairman, who by the way is a class-A Charlie Uniform November Tango must be rinsing them. I don't see them as a bigger club than us, but they certainly know what they are doing in the Transfer window compared to us... Assombalonga - £6m, Dwight Gayle - £5m , Jack Marriott - £3.6m , Connor Washington - £3.3m, Lee Tomlin - £2m, Gwion Edwards £1m... the list does go on... You can't help but think they would have got a lot more for Harrison than the 750k we got for him!
