Having moved to Manchester City in the first completed deal of deadline day, Daniel Arzani could also be involved in the second: he’s expected to sign for Celtic on loan.
Quality player.

Peterborough always buy these gems and sell them on for mega bucks. Their chairman, who by the way is a class-A Charlie Uniform November Tango must be rinsing them. I don't see them as a bigger club than us, but they certainly know what they are doing in the Transfer window compared to us... Assombalonga - £6m, Dwight Gayle - £5m , Jack Marriott - £3.6m , Connor Washington - £3.3m, Lee Tomlin - £2m, Gwion Edwards £1m... the list does go on... You can't help but think they would have got a lot more for Harrison than the 750k we got for him! Very true. Some clubs seem to command much larger fees than others, for players of similar calibre. Had Marriott been playing for someone like us, or Gillingham or Rochdale etc last season, he most likely would have been sold for a much smaller fee.

He's just this minute completed a permanent move to Peterborough!!! FFS, not that I'm that bothered by Ivan Toney, but I swear Posh sign so many players that half the reason is so their competitors don't get them! How big is their squad?! They do my head in! They make an awful lot of money though by selling them on.

Pirate if DC plays sercombe,James Clarke on the left we will struggle. like you said sercombe best in midfield and that’s were he prefers to play I can see him getting watered off. I just don’t understand DC sometimes I think he plays players out of position just too accommodate others. He brought in KB and Rodman both wide players. Not sure what his thinking was with those decisions, I suppose there wasn't much option at left back (apart from Kelly), but Sercs on the left was strange. I still think we could do with another wide man too. Play Craig LB simple

"Darrell Clarke speaking this morning still hopeful of bringing in two strikers today, but wouldn't comment on specific names"

Couple of spells in the Championship as well though I think. I'd happily be in their shoes regarding recent success and transfer dealings.

I’m on about their transfer business being brilliant which it is. They have recently been in the Championship, currently rebuilding their stadium and are always at the top of League 1. All with a much smaller fan base than ourselves. If we’re comparing them to us I know which position I’d rather be in!

I feel like they're genuinely more interested in player-trading and making money that way, than they are interested in building a winning team.

Don’t know the ins and outs of their training complex etc (or if they even have one), but I’d imagine they’re building foundations for a sustainable Championship club. I’d snap anyone’s hand off for Wael to turn us into a mid-table ‘player-trading’ side that makes enough money to finance a stadium re-development!

Rovers fans tweeting their chairman like he's some kind of messiah gets on my tits as well.

Much rather see us winning football matches than making money on 'player-trading'.
Doing both would be ideal though!

Rhys Browne from Yeovil is the latest name linked with us on one of the EFL transfer Twitter pages. Doesn't seem to fit the No. 9 mold though.

Second striker on a permanent deal or just a loan? DC also mentioned maybe another left back on loan (not today though)
