Been out all morning so a bit out the loop. Has the second striker been confirmed as a loan? I've been trying to catch up on these threads and thought I read something about a young player training with the team who will be signing on loan. Is that right? I take it we have no idea who it is? Yeah he's f**king sh** @alexjakubiak Have you been drinking?

If we were going to sign Golbourne I'd imagine he would be here already.

So who do we think will be our starting strikers for Accrington, now we have four to choose from? I reckon that if we are going to play two up top, DC will start Payne and Nichols together who have more experience at playing at this level with Jakubiak and Reilly on the bench trying to force their way in. Hope to see a bit more from Nichols now that he has a tall and able strike partner to play off of, if he doesn’t take this opportunity then I would imagine DC will start to lose his patience with him.
Obviously expect a lot of rotation and trying new things out as DC likes to experiment. Crawley at home in the league cup might be a good opportunity for us to see more from Reilly and Mensah.

If Nichols has a 2 year deal then I reckon he might only have until Christmas to turn things around.

I would play Payne and Reilly, but DC will probably go with Nichols and Payne.

In general across all divisions, a bit of a crappy and quiet deadline day if you ask me.

Just seen that Oxford have completed the loan signing of Ricky Holmes until the end of the season. Fantastic signing.
