Recieved an email from TG, fair play to the bloke he more than answered my question Hi Greg, Do you mean the bar unit that was fenced in in the South West corner? Yes, the plan is for this to return, however we are in the process of applying for a new license which covers the whole site. We will get information out to supporters today regarding all of the current bar offerings and plans over the coming weeks so all supports know what to expect. The bar in the East Stand is due to be back up and running for the Plymouth game. All the best, Tom Gorringe Commercial Director Tom G's direct communication has been first class.

While it is good he answers direct questions, why is this sort of thing announced beforehand on the website.
I can't recall seeing prices, the fact that portable bars etc are not in action on the website before games.
This should not be ITK information.
If we communicated better it would be helpful to fans and make the life of staff much easier.
Ie why ask a east European agency staff member working in the pasty huts about the food price increase? She probably only got to the stadium 20mins before and was now being interrogated.

Tom is obviously a busy guy, so presumably it is the job of staff somewhere to process the information and publicise it. Either there is a breakdown in the chain of command (which i wouldnt call deliberate as answers and explanations have been given) or someone underneath isnt doing a job very well or forgetting to do things (likely very busy themselves) Tom said there should have been notices at the ground re:the bars on saturday

He didn’t answer my question asking wether season tickets sales were up or down this season. Becasue thay are down - that much is obvious. If they were up, you would hope the club would make a point of saying so.
Whilst his comms might be good, the fact that we have not got the beer license in place for the first home game of the season is a little shoddy in my eyes. It's not as if the start if the season has just popped up as a surprise!

Lots of cock ups during the summer apparently and regardless of where the blame is being directed I believe that Wael isn’t happy and has kicked a couple of arses. Without getting into a new Holtby debate, his knowledge has been missed over the summer.

Unfortunatley lots needed to be done to drag the club into something like the 21st Century

Unfortunatley lots needed to be done to drag the club into something like the 21st Century Considering the relatively short time scales (in building terms) they have done very well to get to the current situation. The big disappointment for me was the new stands not being on site by the start of the season but by the sounds of it our french friends have made a bit of cock up on time scales....

The person I asked was very reluctant to tell me, but I assume probably a few hundred. The early cut off date may have contributed to this.

ST sales being down is not necessarily a bad thing. Last years was record sales. It's how they compare to previous seasons that are important and overall attendances over the season
