All credit for coming on the radio but I’m afraid he said nothing reassuring so would rather he hadn’t bothered. He sounded evasive but clearly hinted we are as far away from stadium and training ground developments as we have ever been, plans A, B and C means we are looking at so many things we don’t know where to focus. I’m not especially worried about today but clearly there is still no plan for the future. We continue to live hand to mouth. It’s how we’ve always rolled The strange thing for me errr Strange Gas is by all accounts Wael requested the slot! Lot's of people were demanding communication so I guess he thought he'd better oblige. Then of course everyone goes mental coz he doesn't have anything to say.

Oh, and he seems to have no problems telling Knowall and Severncider everything apparently.

When he speaks, he tells you nothing, that is one way communication, 20man tried hard to get the fella to engage, however he chose not to, what we do know is the club is not going to progress for at least three years plus a build period, which equals never.Shame but that is a fact; how the **** he expects DC to attain and then retain championship football under all the constraints, I do not know.

So why'd people spend the last six months demanding he talk, then? It was always Dam obvious that this would be the result. And when (if?) they do ever get something worth announcing then they will announce it, obviously. People say, 'Communicate!' when what they really mean is, 'get something worth announcing.'

Communication is a not just one-way and its not about saving up your presents for Christmas, its about keeping the customers / fans engaged and informed; you couldn't keep the fella quiet when he first rolled into the City, in amongst us at MK Dons away, being paraded on shoulders down Gloucester road, I must admit I was one of those sucked in by his early optimism, and "we will fight them on the beaches speech" with "evolution not revolution" , although I did not at the time think evolution would in fact equal total lock-down, which really-means "not in my life time".

We've gone from "Landing lights on" to "turn the lights off, they cost money you know" in 2 years. We were going to have something similar to another teams £10M training complex, now we can't even talk about our field. If you are happy with that situation and don't feel that deserves some sort of explaining then fair enough. Personally, I'm not one of those people who needs to be told the ins and outs of what our future plans are, but surely it would be nice to at least have a vague idea what direction our club is going in. If we are not getting a new ground, fair enough. I can live with that.

Listening to the non interview/ interview today it struck me that our president should open The batting against India in the next test match! Anybody that can just knock back question after question to the interviewer ( who I thought Geoff did a brilliant job today) without saying ANYTHING is clearly in the wrong sport!. What did you expect from him? Our club is in the best position we've been for a long time. Rather than getting on his back and being a keyboard warrior. Give the bloke a bit of credit. How many owners do you see mixing with fans? He can't just chuck money and buy players and build a stadium. It's doesn't work like that. Rather than moaning and groining like the scum just get behind everyone at the club. Rant over But are we any better off now? We were on the cusp of promotion to league 1 when they joined. We have a further £4m in debt, the stadium is still sh** and we are on the cusp of no training ground. We will never know what the other interested parties would have done with the club. I have zero faith in the chairman, its early days for the commercial guy Tom and the new head of recruitment. I dont feel we are a club on the rise and we will face a tough battle to finish any higher then mast season.

The only thing I found interesting was UWE was not discounted as before. If memory serves me well I’m sure Wael said it was dead. Am I correct that UWE are also building some type of training ground? Probably living in dream land but that’s the positive I can think of.

As Wael explained he can 'only speak for himself' and he 'cannot say things in public due to legal repercussions' and he is 'frustrated' but everything is 'complecated' and whilst he 'cannot divulge' options 'all options are being explored' and he is 'getting there' but 'cannot talk much about it'. What more do you need to know Hugo?

Rather than moaning and groining like the scum just get behind everyone at the club. Rant over The best position we have been in for a long time was directly after the Daggers game. We had just gained back to back promotions, there was planning permission for a new stadium, we had Harrison,Bodin & the Snake as well as a lot less debt than we have now. Now, we are in the same division, with arguably our best 3 players gone and not replaced with anything like similar quality. We are now exploring all options on a new stadium or rebuild, but certainly won't be sat in it within the next 3 years & are sitting on a playing field that we paid £1m for, with no news or timescale as to when it will be utilised. In the meantime we seem to have more Chiefs than Indians & have racked up more debt. As a club we have massively missed out on the momentum of those back to back promotions. We have a decent manager (IMO) who seems consistently frustrated with the situation ( I think that he was promised certain things to entice him to sign up for 5years) & if this continues it will only transfer itself to the players, which we will/are seeing in performances, if this continues we are in for a dog fight at the bottom of the league. I understand & don't doubt Wael, when he says we are working very hard behind the scenes - but this has been said for the last 2 years & I would ask if the hard work has been effective. As a fan ( not a customer ) I have probably put in, as a % of my wealth, as much as, if not more than Wael & the family & I won't get a penny back. So I feel entitled to have a moan. This is an entertainment business, fans want to know what plans the current custodians have, fans want to know how much their favourite player gets sold for or how much we spend on new players - I am sick of all this hiding behind legalities bollox. If the fans didn't turn up the club would be nothing. I do wonder why they bought the club, we are not in a better position, we just have current owners who have more money than the last lot. My fear is the longer we continue as we are the sooner liabilities will outweigh assets, I think they should know how the fan base feels before they realise they are not going to make the financial killing they thought & walk away. Rovers fans do not want a completed stadoum to announce, just something that shows they are moving in a direction and have a plan. "We are exploring all viable opportunities" suggests that a year on they still don't even have a direction, much less a plan of how to get there.

All I'm saying is that people are confusing 'communication' with an announcement.
