I remember when we drew at Stevenage away, in League 2, effectively gaining the point that (it turned out) won us promotion. And loads of people throwing their toys out the pram at that one. Then last week loads of people going mental with DC's team selection before we won at Wycombe. The thing about DC is that he has to make decisions and then go out and get judged on those decisions in front of 8,000 people a load of whom love a good whine, and his results go down in the record books. People on here get to whine about anything they like with impunity. They get to choose from a selection of new whines out of the whine cellar every week at their leisure, savouring every drop. When they're wrong, doesn't matter, dust themselves down and whine again. Whine about something different or even the same thing next week. They keep getting proved wrong, and they keep whining. Wrong again, doesn't matter, more whines next week. Wrong, who cares it's just opinions right? Get on the forum, go down to the ground, go on facebook, and be wrong again next week, no one cares. And remember that time you were right. That time, you remember you were right once, weren't you? That means you're better than DC. That means you know more about football than anyone. That means you should be the manager. That's right, you should be the manager coz you know best, coz you were right, right?. So, you know, keep going, keep whining, don't let up; it's your duty to Whine for the Gas! WftG! Honestly think this is the best post I have ever read on here.

Having won the premiership this season with Watford on PS4 feel I have the experience to comment 😀
Playing players out of position to shoehorn them into the side is a mistake , yes some players are adaptable to several, Sercs is wasted in a wide position just like Nicho was last season.
Bennet Rodman and Matthews are clearly good in wide positions, but let’s recruit in the right areas, we seem weak in the air at the back, the keeper Smith I rate but at corners he does not come and take crosses, to ease the pressure off the team.
D.C. is doing a good job but see he is following Ollie by asking for extra financial backing from the board for transfers, don’t think Wael will be happy with him.

Everybody’s blaming slocombe,Clarke,Craig,Lockyer, lines,Nicholls,Smith,Upson,Leadbitter,Broadbent etc etc nearly all DCs signings. He plays two right sided players on the left,he plays players out of position too accommodate other players, central midfield is overloaded when we needed a left back,a big bully of a centre back both priorities. Now slocombe goes out on loan so he must now be looking for a goalkeeper,he also signed Mensah,Reilly why sign these players and not play them they can’t prove their worth sat on the bench. Another cock up of a preseason it’s all becoming too familiar. In DC we Trust do we ?do you ? ( I hope he gets it right but now beginning to lose faith ) Last night wasn’t a bad performance BUT the problems are still there for all too see until addressed UTG Please DC can Christmas come early and sign that CB and LB 🙏 No we do not trust him he must go Ok. I trust him. Never used to, but he is clearly the mutts nuts. He got us to a lower league position last season than the one before. And we have had a tremendous start to the current campaign. The summer recruitment was a huge success and the undroppables are still in the team. Nicholls is on fire. Why on earth should he not be trusted?

Managed many league one teams have you ? just asking mind You don't need to be a plumber to know when one has flooded your bathroom. I'm sure you can do better than that if you disagree with what he said. It's fair to say no one on here is professional football player or manager on here. Should we close the forum? But you do need to be a plumber to fix it. And I don't think what I said was wrong. Only a professional manager who works with his players week in week out will know where they can or should play

Never expect to be in the majority, but here goes...
My faith and trust is 100% in DC. At the moment. It's not unconditional.
Within that trust, I think it's never a bad thing to question if need be, not for questions sake. I don't like blame culture, but if there becomes a pattern of poor play, it's difficult not to draw attention to it when there appears to be valid alternatives.
The op refers to valid points. In my opinion. And I think it's fair and free to explore them without the diatribe of sheet head etc.
So, my personal questions are:
I've seen Mensah, Reilly and Watford fella up front this season, to me they look like more potent attacking threat than Nichols, why does Nichols play the next match at the expense of the others?
Lockyer makes mistakes. Alot. Why is he undroppable?
Why don't we have a specialist left back that is match fit, experienced, trusted and good to go, when Lee Brown let us know over 3months ago his services would be taken elsewhere?
I'm sure everyone has their own questions or are completely happy with things, but for now I'm committed to DC and management team, like most of you.
If we get relegated, that's my line drawn to say it's time for a change.
