The successful business people I have met or read about haven't just been intelligent, some not even that, but they have been shrewd. They have had patience and have been strong in the face of criticism. I once read about a man who bought a church in the middle of Blackpool, he demolished it. What did he build there? nothing and he made a fortune........a car park. Millions of people had walked past that site, but only one man did it. As I look at the AQ's from the distance of an ordinary fan, I think I am seeing this shrewdness this patience and this strength. When the criticism of the fans and even the manager and a past manager has been huge regarding the stadium and the budget particularly, they have invested in the back room. Initially it looks like the transfer dealings have been excellent though early days so far, is this the result of the back room investment? A rich man wants to make money, a return on his investment and is prepared to wait. Perhaps this was the reason the UWE didn't happen because the price and the ROI wasn't right. As an ordinary terrace fan I don't know, these are just my thoughts. Perhaps its a case of 'the foolish man would buy a flower, but the wise man would buy the seeds'

The measure of a wise man is planting the seeds of a tree that he knows he won't live long enough to sit in its shade.

Interesting, an ordinary terrace fan. If we ever have an all seater ground would you then be an ordinary sat on a seat fan?

The measure of a wise man is planting the seeds of a tree that he knows he won't live long enough to sit in its shade. The best time to plant a tree was 30 years ago. The second best time is today.

Good idea, i literally had to park miles away last game.

I won’t I’ll be stood up in front of my seat. If your seat is in front of mine you won't be! I think it’s a bit of an irrelevant thought any way. All seater stadium ? Ppppffffffft.

The measure of a wise man is planting the seeds of a tree that he knows he won't live long enough to sit in its shade. But if wise man builds football stadium, he will create instant shade for himself and 20000 others!
