Remember it well. Was watching in a pub in Bagshot Surrey. Perhaps City fans ought to watch this as they constantly go on about one Rovers fan hitting a Braintree (I think it was) player. Yet dozens of their fans come on the pitch chase the Rovers team down the tunnel landing punches on our players. They really are a fickle bunch.

Nor did the events of 1982. Just read One Turd. It says so on there.

The 2-0 win the season before was better.
Beadles 2nd was a thing of beauty.

Anyone there will remember Rovers fans had to get on pitch for half hour after the game as the sh** showered the east end with missiles.

Honestly, the way they have a go at us for the slightest misdemeanour and yet they get a proper hard on at the prospect of their lot being involved in violence. They have got no shame whatsoever about the pitch invasion during the last JPT game at Trashton.

We had so much fun ripping them to bits in the nineties, some fantastic wind ups at twerton and beating them at Ashton was always lovely, the older Ted's still feel the pain, trifficπ
