In my opinion we need 1) Goalkeeper 2) Left back ( 3 month cover ) 3) Solid no frills Centre Back
Over to DC/TW/Wael

If we're not in a position to sign anyone why do we need a Head of Recruitment? Come to think of it, if things are as dire as they seem to be financially why do we need a paid Chairman AND CEO? These three must cost the best part of £200k per annum. 20man would have a field day with that question, funny if Ed Hadwin asks DC that after the next defeat, can you imagine it?😂 D.C. would either bite his head off or finally form a friendship with Hadders, I’d love to find out which

The fact is that we have a coach for this and a coach for thatand top paid men (or women) for every job except the playing staff. We have a head of recruitment who's job is to provide a list of players that we can't afford to recruit for coaches to coach and yet all these coaches and we have strikers who can't score and defenders who can't defend. The saying too many chiefs and not enough Indians come to mind. Oh and we don't have a hew stadium or our own training ground but we do have offices in London!! BRFC really beggars belief!!

Here we go again, just because we are BRFC it does not make us entitled to have all the king's army and riches does it? Stop looking at the the small picture (4 games into a 46 game long season) and look at the bigger picture and we are making progress. I know it's slow but the owners did say that it would be evolution not revolution. If people are getting this impatient with progress at BRFC then I don't understand why they don't go and follow another club that's making quicker progress than just stick around here grumbling and moaning away then coming back for more like some masochist. Trust in DC. Up the gas.

What progress are we making apart from a new bar and more tents?
No new ground, no training ground, no more players, poor form, a seemingly frustrated manager.
You cant tell fans to support someone else because they are unhappy with progress (or lack of it) at the club, people usually only moan because they care.
The 'evolution not revolution' phrase was a masterstroke by Wael enabling him to buy some time (to do what im not entirely sure) and is swallowed up by a lot of gullible gasheads.

Does financial fair play not work on the following season??? So next season we should have a bigger budget after our new sponsorship deals, renovations etc. That's what I thought anyway, I might be wrong. DC new the budget and decided to over load with midfielders, so if he now has to let players go first, that is his thought.
There are ways around the FFP as other clubs have benefitted (and are still benefitting) from.
Our owners don't seem to want to go down that route though.
When you think of the players who have left, I cant see that the wages of the players coming in would have matched that.
I know DC likes to have some play money for Jan but why wait until then to get a competitive squad?
Getting around FFP rules is called cheating. Remember Wycombe and Rovers reaction? Cheating management, cheating players is that the club you want to support? Regarding the Board spending money I recall that lots has been spent on increasing the strength in depth of the first team squad and the development squad and associated back room staff. We can all have an opinion on how effective this has been in terms of results at first team position but my money says 2 promotions is a very profitable result followed by stabilization in L1. If that is not progress then I do not know what is. More spending has taken place on a vastly improved playing surface, improved environment in the bars and structures to increase supporter capacity. All the above is not insignificant cost but all aimed at increasing revenue by a better team performance, better environment to pull in more fans to spend more money. So why do the moaners not spend their money as well as demanding the Board spend theirs? We're all in it together aren't we? Assuming Rovers were to be promoted to the Championship next season I understand the EFL would give them £10m. What does that but in todays player market? One second rate striker like Matty Taylor who can't get into Sh**y's team. When you ask someone else to spend their money just remember it's you who has to spend yours next!

Impossible to support another team.Lived up here for nearly 50 years with;Stoke,Vale,Crewe and Wolves half an hour away but as BRFC is in my DNA I simply can't just' Support another team'.Situation not helped with mr Wael's confidentiality clause' nonsense which would suggest something big is happening but little evidence to support this.

These three must cost the best part of £200k per annum. Yes and why did the CEO need to bring his old PA from Plymouth with him. An afternoon keyboard training for him would have saved another £35k a year...just hope we didn't pay relocation costs for the pair of 'em cost that will be another £30k.....

Its a pathetic answer to "go support somebody else" when its in your blood. Although by the look of attendances this season 2000 have decided to do exactly that!! Just over 9000 with a sell out away support was pathetic and just sums up the mood around the camp at the moment.Nobody explained that evolution was moving from tent to tent!!

Not cheating to capitalise say £100k of the loan or for Wael family to sponsor something or other and use it to pay a player's wages. Both options absolutely with the rules but they choose not to.

Re FFP - Its not cheating its exploiting a loophole in the rules, anyone can do it if they wanted to, Wael chooses not to, or isn't allowed to by the people that really matter in his family. Re 2 promotions - How much of this was down to Wael? He came in near the end of the 2nd promotion season! Re Matty Taylor - Didn't he start and score in their last game? You can add as much paint and tents to a stadium but that will not make you sustainable. I'm asking him to spend some money because he took over this club. Why anyone would take over a club and not spend significant amounts of money just adds to my suspicion over the owners motives.
