Most posters on here know I'm a positive poster, but even I'm worried about how this season is going.
From the game's I've seen, we havn't looked liked scoring, let alone winning!
Are the players playing for DC? I think they are, but they just arent good enough to win. Is that DC's fault, or the players?
When was the last time we lost our opening 3 games? I know we didnt win a home game till Jan when we first went down to the 4th tier, not sure if we drew any?
Anyway, onwards, and upwards. Loftus Rd here we come!!! If Lumley plays hope he gets a good reception, a very good player for us.
P.S, I left early again today, a long with quite a few others...........

We’ve got by in this league with our home form and having a sh** pitch that teams struggled to play here. We need to drive vehicles over that pitch out some ruts in it otherwise we are going down

Has DC lost the plot or is this just a difficult transition away from the old squad ?

Has DC lost the plot or is this just a difficult transition away from the old squad ? It's a difficult transition from an 'okay' squad to an awful and unbalanced squad.

To tell you the truth I hadnt thought about the transition till you just said it.
Is that the reason? The defence is pretty much the same, midfield Rodman & Bennett & Upson. Strikers are the biggest change, Payne & Reilly & Jak.
Is that enough to make such a difference? Not sure.

Our defence is worse then last season as is our goalkeeper and attack. We finished 13th last season and the league is more competitive.

Perfectly summed up in 2 sentences But we knew this ages ago and yet all summer all DC did was add midfielders to the squad. So now we have an average at best keeper, a ropey defence, strikers who can't score and a surplus of central midfielders. The squad is so unbalanced in terms of where the quality is and it has been evident for a while. It almost appears negligent on the part of whoever does the scouting and hiring, like no-one gives a sh** on the playing side anymore so long as there is room in the budget for another needless middle-man salary.

Dc built a great team in the conference season, half of that team were still the driving force on the pitch last season. That team has now been broken up and the classic problem of rebuilding is proving a very difficult job. We have all seen this before at rovers and at other clubs which combined with no leadership from the owners of the club makes for a worrying situation.
