Joebananas said similar when Trolls was in charge
Never happened, Joeyb kept coming back to the gas time and time again as he loved the square pegs in round holes too much. You'll never stay away
I've been down the mem once since we lost 4-o at Shrewsbury that was the last straw for me the only reason I went to one afterwards was due to a family birthday Comes to something when your own family don't invite you to a birthday so you go to watch the Rovers instead.

From Carlisle forum: “The true cost of Jack Bonham 2017/18 If ever there was a decision made by a manager which should cost him his job - the decision to bring Bonham into the club and to persist with picking him to start is up there. I make it Bonham's mistakes, poor play and abysmal judgement have cost us points on 14 occasions this season - potential wins becoming draws, potential draws becoming defeats. That's a total of 24 points we've flogged directly due to Bonham. It is, or course, unreasonable to suggest a tier four goalkeeper isn't going to make any errors. However, if Bonham had performed adequately in only half of these games (and we're talking only "adequately" not "excellently"), we'd be looking at 12 more points. I can't think of anything he's done I wouldn't expect a youth team player being capable of doing.” Read more: gasheads.org/thread/7692/loan-keeper#ixzz5PPK0EfpKOne person's opinion. This might be Carlisle's MidlandGas for all we know. I've no idea what Bonham's like but I do recall some being very underwhelmed when we signed Lumley. Let's give the lad a chance, eh?

In which case sir, you have no justification in criticising performances of players and games you've not seen. I don’t understand how said poster can call himself a gashead. Constantly slating the manager, literally buzzing when we lose a game, and to top it off through choice (Have no issue with fans who can’t attend due to circumstances) he doesn’t attend games because results aren’t going our way. Lol, I’m taking a break from this place and in the meantime hopefully it doesn’t become even more poisonous and get back to the players/management. I see a lot of posters who were regular contributors before I took the dive have also stopped. If DC leaves or gets sacked we’re almost certainly relegated given the current circumstances and leadership - some of you really need to be careful what you wish for. Trollope season 3 incoming. A shame if you do go, as one of the level headed and sensible posters on here. We are in danger of the lunatics taking over the asylum.

Contrary to what many seem to think, I don't believe that Championship clubs would be lining up to recruit DC. He did a great job in getting us back to League One, where we were before the decline started, but his record in the Conference and League Two will be of little relevance. It is his record in this League which will be scrutinised. In three games time he will have had charge of Rovers for 100 games in League One. At present his record stands at:
P 97 W 35 D 23 L 39 F 133 A 144 Pts 128 (Don't let's look at our cup/s record in that time!)
Not bad, but certainly not eye-catching. If he was to leave, willingly or unwillingly, I think it will be to another League One side with more cash and ambition than we seem to have.

he hasn’t spent a lot considering the difference in prices in the championship to l1 You get a average player in the championship for 5 m Few championship clubs have picked up some bargains from us then. snake,Ellis aren’t championship players only bodin could be from the last few years

Looking at results , other fans comments on games and how players performances are rated is more than enough for me to make a comment, and it is very rarely I would criticise the players it is DC who picked the team, the tactics the formation and plays people out of position so the buck stops with him.

DC has performed miracles getting us to where we are now.
How many teams above us are smaller than us!?
Accrington, Wycombe, Rochdale?
We're about where we should be.
It's all about the money...........

He was the guy who said last year that he would not watch the Gas again until DC was gone. But would not let be borrow his season ticket as he was not going to games. I was keeping my season ticket as I though the board will see sense and get rid of DC last season then I would have used it again as far as this season us concerned while he is still there I am not getting one just out of interest midland - what was your tipping point with regards to DC?

Trust me , you are still in a minority , by all means you and others have every right to be critical ,but the sh** that comes out of your mouth at times is just plain old fashioned attention seeking , if you ever just want attention or a chat pm me I will happily oblige, just reign in the sh**e you spout in regards dc being useless as he’s proved time and time again that he’s the best thing to happen to this club in a very long time ! Remember the offer is there if you’re ever feeling lonely...... I’m not a D.C. hater but all this have faith (generally a load of bollox like religion) and putting down the doubters with nothing constructive is stupid! I’m fed up of hearing things DC has done! It’s all about the next project and not the past! If you all love dc so much have you learned nothing about the way he works by now! So what is our messiah doing to sort this mess and our constant poor starts! Anyone? Replacing our first choice goalie with a rookie - great 👍🏻 Lovely stuff

Ye were not playing well or getting results but we’ve had these spells and got through them before. You just remind me of some of the melts on aftv with their Wenger out antics.

Just a thought - Ellis, Matty and billy all thank Marcus Stewart for the role he had in helping them improve and go up a level! Let’s not forget his hand in our promotions too! It wasn’t all DC. I don’t want a change personally but those that are thinking we will be doomed have maybe forgot our new setup with millions of backroom staff and we are probably in the best position ever to actually sack a manager as we have a system in place! Anyway back to MS and let’s hope he can do quick work with the new 3 strikers! We need it!
