What?!!! Signing a player from a lower division on loan? Lack of ambition, blah blah, we're going down, blah blah... Err, slight difference!! Agreed. But the point remains that the reaction regarding Joe Martin has been ridiculous. I would have loved to have seen Doidge here, although understandably our budget cannot compete with Bolton's.

Nice to see d.c relaxed for a change. I certainly am not. 2 new c.bs needed, we signed nudder. Defending has been awful, for far too long now and we quite simply are not addressing it. Rolling still here and not been sent out on loan as far as I have seen, maybe a soloution.
But please just drop Lockyer. Awful awful awful.

I think people would have welcomed the Joe Martin deal a lot better had he not been the only signing.
He is the only addition to an already suspect defence until at least January, and he cant get into his own team a league lower. Also this can be seen as an indication at how bad the finances really are.
Im sure Joe will get well supported during the games, but this is the place to air any worries and there are plenty.

I share your concern regarding the lack of finances at Darrell's disposal. With regards suport during the match, I hope you're right but given the behaviour of some of our "fans" at Loftus Road toward James Clarke and Adam Smith, I wouldn't be too sure. Here's hoping three points today results in a more positive feel on here next week!
