Never put Rodman in another rover's starting 11 again. And if you get any thoughts on picking him Fast forward the highlight tape of the game v shrews to around 85 mins when he had a 60/40 challenge in his favour on the right hand side of our half and absolutely bottled it meaning shrews went on the attack.

I think remain positive. I think stop talking about budgets and concentrate on some of the good footballers at the club.
He’s a great manager, and his mood is infectious. Stay positive and the players will follow him through bad spells.

I believe you've taken the club as far as you can and everyone thanks you for that. For your own sanity I would suggest you move on with the experience you've gained here. There will we job offers I'm sure and you will become a better manager for it - Chris Wider is a classic example of a manager who 'over achieved' and moved on at the right time - now managing a Championship club. There is no 'unfinished business' here for you just a stagnating club with seemingly little or no ambition - your CV will look better for it, if you leave whilst there are still positives for you.

DC - Look to sign on Rick Astley. Why? Never gonna give you up Never gonna let you down Never gonna run around and desert you Never gonna make you cry Never gonna say goodbye Never gonna tell a lie and hurt you.

Don’t take advice from anyone who hasn’t won anything on championship manager 2001 (I won the champions league with Luton town) remember winning the premier league with bath city! Oh the joys of playing that final game like 30 times before I actually won it! Save it quick and boom, Champions! Lol! Come on, we all did it? I preferred to add a user and just take over the opposition team as a new manager. Then make them lose the game. Is quite amusing but completely ruins the game in the long run as you end up with loads of managerless clubs!

That is very good advice, I’ve been saying the same since last season.

Are you not worried who will turn them back on again?

And me but nobody ever listens until it will be too late Did you actually read that post, as the OP is suggesting DC moves for his own good away from a "stagnating" club, not that he should leave as he's out of his depth, which is what you keep on suggesting.

On the pitch - not going to give 'advice' to a professional mgr, and ex-pro player, especially when I don't 100% know the details of the budgets, wages etc.
Off the pitch - use your status as an on the pitch legend to ask how exactly they will help you win that final promotion. If they can't guarantee to have a trg facility up & running soon, nor protect proper Gasheads like KB, then tell them goodbye.

Encouraging the best thing to happen to us in years to leave? Well that's just great.
