BristolLive have been told there is little in the current rumours and certainly nothing will happen in the immediate future.
We have contacted the Dyson company today for a comment on their founder being linked with a takeover bid but have not received a reply yet.
The word around the club, from several staff members, is there is currently nothing to comment on.

The way this is put, it certainly sounds like something is brewing, perhaps not an immediate takeover but maybe added investment a little down the line. It might just be poorly worded but surely the club would categorically deny anything at all was happening if that is the case. I don't know why they even bothered contacting Dyson, the most far fetched rumour of the lot, I doubt they'll even get a response.

I turned over 48 mill last year but profits are under a squeeze in the construction industry as wage and material inflation is rampant That's it, the cats out of the bag! Parrot's gonna be the new owner! Come on, you tight-fisted b@stard, build a new 30k stadium, spend another £10 million on a training ground, and give DC £10 mill for new players, and treble his budget, and make all drinks and food at the ground free. I hope Parrot doesn't forget who's blanket he was happy to get under last December. Got to worth at least one free match in box 1!

Phew, I never realised that the FFSC was such a moneyspinner.

It sounds like JohnE didn't check with anybody in a position of authority at Rovers as he's now posted: "Someone on social media asked whether these takeover/sale rumours can be quashed? The answer is yes but there are only a handful of people who can actually do that and they all sit on the board. There has been nothing from any of them as yet. Silence is not an unexpected result. These are just rumours at this stage after all. But you would not expect to hear anything from them if a deal is currently being discussed."

Who did he contact at the club?? No names or quotes etc?

I turned over 48 mill last year but profits are under a squeeze in the construction industry as wage and material inflation is rampant I'm going to do a bit of willy waving here.....These numbers are truly staggering.... The company I work for has a turnover of approx. 160 BILLION Euros per month ! It makes a profit, after tax, operating costs etc etc of approx. 10 million Euro per working week.

That is what I believe is happening based upon what I was told but as it’s 2nd hand info I won’t pretend it’s fact - just that I think it’s more likely than the club being sold/taken over and new owners But they can only invest what they have, not what has gone through the tills. Companies house shows total equity of 660,000. What other large construction company exists in the Southampton area? It's going to need to be considerably bigger than this one if it is going to invest in a stadium project. True but it’s not just financial equity they can put in. The amount of cash v total value of deal are different things. Say they sign a deal to build the training ground and stadium on a joint partner arrangement. They can loan x amount against their total company valuation supplemented with their reduced cost and labour exposure and may forecast that post builds the generation of additional work through their activity plus dividends based upon an increase in their share price and any other things they build into the deal might make it possible. Look at the big prem and Spanish clubs - £100’s of millions in debt yet can still afford to go spend £70+ mill on players each year.... I don’t know the answer or if there is actually any truth in the rumour but the scale of turnover is a part indicator of health and financial capabilities

No reason to doubt what you're saying but I'm not sure I would want to wave my willy too much with such disappointing profits on such a huge turnover.

BTW, unless you are being tricksy, you've got your numbers wrong. There is no company in the world turning over 160 billion euros pm. The largest company in the world is Walmart, which has a revenue of around $500 billion, or 420 billion euros pa, 35 billion euros pm.
According to Wikipedia anyway
