I'm going to do a bit of willy waving here.....These numbers are truly staggering.... The company I work for has a turnover of approx. 160 BILLION Euros per month ! It makes a profit, after tax, operating costs etc etc of approx. 10 million Euro per working week. BTW, unless you are being tricksy, you've got your numbers wrong. There is no company in the world turning over 160 billion euros pm. The largest company in the world is Walmart, which has a revenue of around $500 billion, or 420 billion euros pa, 35 billion euros pm.
According to Wikipedia anyway
It's a Stock Exchange. The numbers involved are mindblowing......and this one is probably ranked no.10 in the world.

No reason to doubt what you're saying but I'm not sure I would want to wave my willy too much with such disappointing profits on such a huge turnover. Over 500 million a year clear profit is not to be sniffed at.

Now that is embarrassing! The Bristol Post stoops to new lows with their “investigative” journalism.

Evening Post exclusive, Dyson interested in buying Rovers how ridiculous. I doubt whether the man even follows football. At the end of April I was told by an ex director that a billionaire from the isle of man was interested in the club, nothing happened. After the confidential nothing interview between 20man and Wael I went up into the West stand where usually go and told some who hadn't listened to the interview what wasn't said they told me the club was to be taken over. Just recently I was told their is good news around the corner. So their maybe talks with and investor going on. But for the time being I think we need to forget about the speculation and get behind the team in the hope that we can pick some points up and get up the table

If anyone truly believes these takeover by xxxx rumours, and is secure in their source, can they pm me with their details please? I have a friend in Nigeria, head of a petrochemicals company, that needs a bank account in the UK to deposit a massive amount of money in. Trust me. As a bonus, I also have some magic beans I'm willing to sell for the right price.

Let the speculation begin. The Isle of Man now has five billionaire residents, with Mark Scheinberg the wealthiest, according to the 30th Sunday Times Rich List. The Israeli-born businessman, 45, is the co-founder of online gambling company PokerStars and worth £3.55bn - ranking him 36th in Great Britain. He is followed on the island by property mogul John Whittaker (£2.25b) and Alki David and the Leventis family. Trevor Hemmings and Jim Mellon both became billionaires in the last year.

The obvious one would be the property mogul, Jim Whittier, but he's now 76 and made all his money in the North West, so that list sounds as unlikely as it being a Southampton construction company.

Did someone mention Apple Turn-over? Has the thread got so messed up that someone is answering the question before it's asked?
