Bristol council. Are sending out letters asking people .What they think of Bristol life might be a good way of insisting the council ask whoever is developing the arena at filton to incorporate a stadium for us ?

How would this be financed though? Perhaps we could also ask BCC to insist that the developers also build it for us free of charge?

How would this be financed though? We have so many potential buyers / consortiums waiting in the wings to buy us, I think the only fair way would be to hold a raffle? The winner then pays for our new stadium, simples!

Incorporated in the arena What, Indoors? Would still be a cost though. Can’t expect this to be delivered without some form of payment by the club

All forum members chipping in to get Marvin Rees another all expenses paid holiday would be more effective.

If the build is being financed by the council surely there is no way that we would be able to gain from that. I imagine our red friends would be apoplectic if they felt the council were giving us money and not doing the same for them. Has this ever happened in the past where one of the clubs has made a direct financial gain as result of council spending (I know I'm probably missing something massively obvious but it is late!)

I'm sure we could finance something to the stadium as it is Bristol c c that want arena as much as we need a stadium remember the people that want to build the arena are after monies towards infrastructure from b c c

Marvellous Marvin does not listen to the opinions of his own Councillors what would make you think he would listen to the views of a couple of hundred on-line Gasheads. Sounds like his decision could cost us millions of pounds in costs to the Buckingham Group, megalomaniac and his (alleged) taking of hospitality from the YTL group costing the tax payers of the City.
