Looks relatively decent and no doubt they'd fill it with a promotion or two. Shame the rest of Luton is third world.

This is from 2 and a half years ago. I know a Luton Town season ticket holder and he sounds as frustrated as we have been with waiting for ours! Same case of believing it when they're in it.

From late August... Luton chief executive Gary Sweet is remaining extremely confident that Town’s move to Power Court is a matter of 'when' and not 'if'. “In summary, while the process has been prolonged due to the challenge placed upon the council’s planning department and scrutiny of various third parties, we’re very happy with the position we are currently in and we’re really looking forward to taking the next step. It’s not a matter of ‘if’, it’s just a matter of ‘when’." Read more at: www.lutontoday.co.uk/sport/football/luton-town/sweet-confident-a-new-stadium-at-power-court-is-just-a-matter-of-when-1-8614754

Its only going to hold 17,500?
Ive think Luton have the potenial to going through the leagues just like we do if we were to eveeerrrrrrr get a new ground, given the size of both clubs potential,as well as current fanbases.
If we have to rebuild the mem Id be happy with a 20k size ground. If a UWE kinda of new site was found I think it should be first built around 22k with room to build into 30k plus later.

If anyone who hasn't been to Kenilworth Road is interested, smiv on YouTube has a series of brilliant ground reviews, and this is his for Luton.
Often described as the worst ground in the FL, but it's better than the Mem to me. But just like us, to push onwards and upwards, they need a new stadium.

Its got more seats but its still a few thousand smaller capacity wise. Agree like us they need new facilities, and they've always had good, loyal support who have stuck with them when they dropped down the divisions into Non League.

Was speaking to a Luton fan during the World Cup, he was saying there have been some objections to having a football ground in the centre of the town, others would argue that that's the perfect place for it as it would limit the environmental impact, but that he still reckoned it would be built as the Muslim population want the football ground out of Bury Park, which is where much of the town's Muslim population live, so will be supportive of the move and they have quite a bit of clout on the Borough Council.
