What have you lost a pie and a pint. 10% off a shirt has been replaced by monthly sales offers. Which may or may not have been used anyway. I know i never Pie and pint is the biggest one i would imagine, so you have lost at best 8 quid. Big deal Yep, the pie and pint ones were the only ones I used the last few times. Same as that

I feel SO inadequate. Can someone advise me what I have to do to feel 'embarrassed', especially 'plain and simple embarrassed' by events at a football club? Anyone?

The pies are sh**e this year anyway. No veggie bean pie and no chicken and gammon pie. Even if I had a voucher I wouldn't use it. Cheers Tom, I dodged a bullet there. It’s a so called bloody football Ground not Jamie Oliver’s restaurant. I appreciate it’s dearer than Jamie’s restaurant though lol.

I'm not being deliberately obtuse.

I know i never Pie and pint is the biggest one i would imagine, so you have lost at best 8 quid. Big deal The thing is we haven't really lost anything as we've no idea what the season tickets would have cost if the "free" pie & pint had been included this season, if you don't normally eat of drink at the ground you haven't really lost anything. Plus if they were just given away free again this season then that's £8 per s/t holder less for DC's playing budget. Also the shirts are £5 cheaper this season, £39.99 against £45 last season, so the 10% discount is now built in the upfront price. I guess it's not helping it's costing fans more this season to watch Rovers but the results so far have been worse, although you can't really blame the owners for that as that's down to DC and the players.

maybe next year they could stick in some vouchers when you renew or purchase, but obviously there was a mad rush to get everything sorted. Perhaps its time people quit f**king moaning about everything and support the team or f**king stand up and challenge the club if you have a real problem Will you stop Dam moaning about moaners please? It’s getting rather tidious.

Whilst the list is embarrassing aren't the perks of a season ticket;
Entry to every home game for cheaper than paying individually.
Priority for cup tickets, such as Chelsea the other year.

Look at it, I'm watering myself laughing looking at that photo but in many other respects it's an absolute disgrace that someone signed off on that as a good idea. We seem to actually revel in our tinpottedness sometimes.

Is the offer of two friends for £10 at a match to be determined by the club a new thing?
It's a good deal but very inflexible.
I thought it was previously any match you chose except Category 1 games and cup ties.

I can see so many people not renewing their season tickets because shock, horror, the benefits of owning one are so embarrassing
Some people need to take a long hard look at themselves
The REAL benefit is to watch and support YOUR team in a cost effective way FFS
I could not give 2 shits what extra benefit my ticket grants me

I'm embarrassed by the number of gasheads who are so easily embarrassed.
Things change all the time, things that you like don't always remain, but sometimes new things come along that you didn't have before and you come to enjoy them.
The benefits said "monthly retail offers". Now I don't know what this could entail but for all we know it might include something new that will be better than a one off voucher that once used is gone.
Please, please, please can people just cut the club some slack?
All I hear at the moment is "it's sooooo embarrassing" with completely OTT outrage.
They are changing things, mixing it up, trying new ideas. Some things may go well, others not but I'm pretty sure that the Gorringe knows what he is doing and will continue to adapt / modify plans to suit customer feedback once the season is over.

Agreed. Although it could have been worse...

Our setup at UWE freshers fair the other year was pretty decent.

I’m not normally one to criticise but when this came through in my lunch hour I chatted with my colleagues over how this is a bit of a joke. I don’t mind taking away the free pasties, free drinks, free bring a mate. That’s fine. Last season we were generally spoil and the home and away kits are more than 10% cheaper for everyone anyway so that’s no loss. But don’t insult my intelligence by telling me about how I’m benefiting from a free email which I just end up deleting and priority tickets which I expect as a season ticket holder anyway. Keep it to the positives and don’t just chuck in any old sh**. That i agree with Yes, totally
