www.bristolrovers.co.uk/news/2018/september/season-ticket-benefits/For all the progress the club has made on the marketing front over the last couple of years, this is just embarrassing. The first 2 benefits are stuff that have always been included within the price of a season ticket eg Priority for cup and away matches and most of the other 7 benefits are just discounts or useless stuff like a "free poster" that the majority of holders won't be interested in. How the club can even pretend email updates are supposed to be a benefit of buying a season ticket is beyond me. Gone are the actually useful offers like "a free pasty" or a "a free drink", the only comparable offer is the bring two mates to the mem offer and even this requires you to bring two instead of one like last year. Apologies if this sounds like a rant, I just thought this was a poor showing compared with what was available last year, it kind of feels we have gone backwards in this regard.

It’s more the timing that puzzles me. Surely a bit late now to be advertising this?

I agree, it is totally embarrassing. It would have been far better to issue nothing than send this out and open themselves up to ridicule.

Yeh. And then be criticised for not communicating. I only renewed my ST for the benefits, mind.

What have you lost a pie and a pint.
10% off a shirt has been replaced by monthly sales offers. Which may or may not have been used anyway. I know i never
Pie and pint is the biggest one i would imagine, so you have lost at best 8 quid. Big deal

It's all very strange, the timing, the bland benefits
But the whole bring 2 friends for £10... those that mean you HAVE to bring 2 or you can bring UP TO 2?
(soz if that's a stupid question, its friday)

The biggest incentives have always been priority tickets Never got a free Greasey Joe burger back in the day

Last year it was bring a mate for £5 and I think we got a 10k gate for a night match against Fleetwood which was impressive. I know we haven't lost all that much out of this but its the way its all conveyed and a few small things that irritate me.

I hold a season ticket in the East Stand and as it's always sold out at the season ticket stage I assume you're allowed to take advantage of the offer but your mate has to choose a different part of the ground to be in, this seems unfair but it's the only way to open the offer to all season tickets holders. This might be different in other seated areas of the ground where there is availability on matchday, I'm unsure as I didn't use the offer last year. For obvious reasons its much different on the terraces as you can stand where you want with who you want.

That makes sense but it is a bit rubbish, was just wondering as I have a friend with a season ticket in the West Stand and it would've been nice to go together Not gonna say no to a £10 ticket though

"It would have been far better to issue nothing than send this out"
They moan when the board don't talk to them personally every 2 minutes, now they moan when the board do talk to them.
This is a strange place.

Embarrassing as repeated several times, the loss of the free pint and pasty were the only true freebie's and however simple an offer it was, it was free and fans enjoyed the offer.
I expect the budget on the free pint and pasties was blown on the new Family hi-spec grandstand …………. Taxi!!

I guess the games that you will be able to use the 2 for £10 will be restricted. 5,000 season ticket holders bringing 2 friends to the Sunderland match!

This is hardly a club update though, it's just plain and simple embarrassing! Seriously what adult s/t holder is going to be interested in a stick album, I'm not even sure kids would still collect them for a Div 1 club in this day and age.

I don't have any friends but if I did I would want to enjoy the game with them, otherwise the 'benefit' is not to me at all.
