I'm going to give DC credit getting the best out of these players. Taylor would still be doing any ordinary job if it wasn't for him.. Bodin might not have done anything with all his injuries. Harrison finally pulled his finger out. But was only for 1 season. I would have thought when championship teams were looking at Ellis after last season they would have looked over his form from previous seasons and been a bit concerned. At the time I thought he would have stayed here and then if he had another good season the bigger clubs would have come calling. The funny thing was everybody was shocked when he was offered a new contract and then he went and had his best ever season! Having said that, if I could take back any of these three it would be him (as long as he could replicate last seasons form). Not just for his goal scoring ability but for everything else he did on the pitch as well as off the field (people talk about how quite the dressing room is now). In the long term, if Bodin can get fit and stay injury free, he has the potential to go the furthest.

I agree about Ellis having another season in league 1 , I think the move was slightly premature, but there was no way he could of turned down a move to the championship. I think another season in league 1 would of shown potential suitors if it was a one off season or not, personally think he would of been even better if he stayed with us

I don't think any other Championship club would have taken Ellis, it's just that Hurst bought a load of league 1 players he had knowledge of. I doubt Hurst will stay at Ipswich long, he isn't good enough or even ready to manage in the Championship, Ipswich took a punt because he'd had one good season at Shrewsbury and they were kind of desperate to replace McCarthy. Ipswich are now bottom, Ellis isn't getting a look in and I reckon Hurst will be fired before Christmas. We might even get Ellis back on loan!

I’ll even throw in a box of monster munch for them, pickled onion flavour of course that should swing it!
